Chapter Text
-All Yours-
My mind is yours to traverse, to rummage through and absorb
my contents, which I will eagerly gift to you.
And my body exists for you to ravage in trances of love
and despair.
I leave my soul an open book
so you can drench your fingers in ink,
to redefine me,
make me perfect,
make me…
yours.
-Oh Devoted-
Oh devoted, confess to me. What you expect to find at the bottom of the ocean,
is it the same as what you’ve already gleaned from the depths of my eyes?
My dear devoted—
do you still doubt me when you bring your lips to my neck
and my hands?
Your touch I miss
dearly, for the lapping waves could never reciprocate
as you do. Your highness, devoted,
do you still doubt me as you cradle my corpse with trembling arms?
As you’ve done for the hundredth time, when you’ve already lost sight,
lost track of what you wish to follow?
What we wish to follow?
-The Nautical Lullaby-
Below the shawls of the silvery, indifferent moon,
below sails billowing in weak, salty currents,
by the warm, dwindling, candlelight,
he sits.
His gaze is elsewhere, trapped in another world
with clanging, ever-present music and crimson lanterns blotting out the stars.
His fingers tap inconsistently
to the rhythm of a sweet tune he learned from the ocean.
The boy leans against a bed undisturbed.
It is waiting for the jaunty footfalls of its owner to hit the planks after so, so long,
and so is he.
