"So what brings you here?" asked Jake gently.
"Well, it started when I was feeling inexplicably mad earlier today," Julianne replied. "It felt like nothing could make me regain control."
"Interesting."
"The feeling lasted for a few moments before going away."
Jake wrote a few words on his notebook before asking her, "Did you take a few slow breaths?"
"Yes," the young woman replied, "and it worked a little bit."
"Sounds like you have some partially resolved anger issues," noted Jake. "You need to practice some additional calming strategies so you can be even more okay."
Julianne nodded. "Thank you."
