There is a man in her apartment.
She only ever caught fleeting glimpses of him. Sometimes she catches the entity standing in the hallway, slipping into the bathroom when she glances over. Even passing by when she’s inside, always just at the edge of her vision before disappearing. She’s sure it’s a man, though she can’t explain why or how she sees him. Lately, she’s begun to wonder if she might be schizophrenic.
Stress has been wearing her down, living alone in a cramped apartment, her mental health dwindling by the day. Now the place itself seems suffocating. She was going insane, surely.
