Summary
He didn't even know how much time would pass before someone found his decomposing, radiation-ravaged body. Maybe it would be better if they didn't. Somehow it felt both absurd and comforting that still, even after all that he had done, there would be someone to mourn him. That was something he didn't deserve, but still cherished a lot. After all, Ewron wasn't Juan. He wasn't a pillar of hope and he wasn't friendly. Ewron named himself a cockroach and he lived by that for many months, trying to make himself into something indestructible. And still, there were people that he could consider his family until the very end. The last thing he could do for them is to spare them that pain of seeing his last moments, full of exhaustion and agony.
