Summary
Wherein Connor leaves the DPD post-peaceful demonstration to help run an android shelter with Nines, Gavin ends up at said shelter due to an unfortunate habit of being aggressive towards Detroit's newly recognized sentient species, and Nines finds himself wanting the detective who’s still half-smitten with his predecessor’s face.
Alternatively: Wherein Gavin and Nines end up in a fuckbuddies arrangement, strangers-to-fuckbuddies-to-lovers style…except the path to lovers becomes messier than it ought to be, because Gavin's poorly handled crush on Connor apparently never left him, and Connor starts noticing way too late.
