    Aventurine reached out, cupping the back of Sunday’s neck with a gloved hand. Goosebumps rose along Sunday’s skin where they touched, as if straining for further contact. Aventurine used it to reel him closer. “I’m not hearing a no,” he murmured against Sunday’s lips.

    Technically, it hadn’t been a no. Those were the sorts of arrangements they thrived in; ones that could be argued either way in court. Plausible deniability and all that. “Make haste then,” Sunday grumbled, tilting his head until their lips met.
