At this point, Agent was put up with the anomaly. It had only been a few hours into the shift, Intern being placed with him in the office so he could get help with telling anomalies from the patients. So far no luck. He watched in frustration as Intern was about to give a nametag to yet another anomaly, even when it was painfully obvious with its horrific face. Agent sighed, shooting the thing in the face from where he was standing, startling Intern for the 5th time just this shift. And it was barely 8:00.A.M.
“Wrong again. That was an anomaly, and it was obvious. How can you not tell?” He exclaimed, glaring at the tall rabbit, their shoulders tensing and backing up to the desk as he continued to berate them. But honestly, he couldn’t care less if he was scaring it. It was a thing, no more of a monster than any other anomaly. At least Intern hadn’t tried to kill anyone yet.
Agent watched as they signed something, making him raise an eyebrow. “Slow down, I can’t understand when you go that fast.” He muttered.
Intern paused, then nodded, and signed at a slower pace as he watched their hands. “They all look the same to me.”
Agent shook his head, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Of course you can’t… Fucking anomalies,” he huffed, before turning around and exiting the office to see if Intern could be placed somewhere else. He didn’t think Harlow would trust him to take care of patients, maybe behind the shop instead, he hoped. But he knew deep down that was unlikely.
As he approached Dr. Harlow’s door, he knocked before waiting to be called in. When he heard panicked shuffling, his eyebrows furrowed. What the hell was happening in there?
“Come in,” he heard the doctor say, and Agent pushed open the door with a click, stepping inside. When he saw the paramedic standing next to his desk, staring at the floor and flushed, he could guess what happened. It wasn’t surprising, really, when paramedic had been disappearing into his office for a few hours each day and coming out limping. He didn’t expect him to be a bottom, though.
