Summary
Aegon Targaryen never wanted the Iron Throne. So when Aemond finds him, he does the one thing no one expects: he lets his brother go.
Aegon flees across the Narrow Sea, leaving behind a crown. Otto Hightower soon realizes that the Greens cannot wage a war on behalf of an infant heir whose father has abandoned the Realm.
There is, however, another Targaryen prince. Aemond has Vhagar, a claim of his own, and considerably less patience than his elder brother.
With Aegon gone, Otto must make a choice: crown Jaehaerys, a child unlikely to inspire an army, or place the crown upon the head of Viserys' second son.
He chooses Aemond. And the Realm might burn because of it.
