Summary
It’s only right for Langdon to crave him. Dr. Robby can throw his toys out of the pram and move on to Dr. Whitaker as his new pet all he likes. But James (or at least the version of himself he’s curating this rotation) isn’t golden boy number three. He’s brilliant, yes, but too intense for Dr. Robinavitch — slightly broken, maybe, in need of more guidance than Whitaker can provide. A devoted pupil, staying late, bringing extra coffee, brushing shoulders in the hallways. He makes himself into an indispensable fixture in Langdon’s orbit, a golden light among the grey of the ER.
