"Oh, my god, Taylor!" Lauren exclaimed loudly. "You're dating that Starset guy?"
"Yup," replied Taylor. "In fact, I met him at one of his band's headline demonstrations."
"Really?" Carlie gasped. "What was he like?"
"He was… alright, I guess." Taylor tossed her red streaks in front of her face. "It's really hard to believe that he screams like a maniac, by the way."
Lauren looked down on the ground sadly and told them, "My ex dumped me before I could even talk to him properly."
"That's sad," Carlie murmured softly, "but we all experience that."
Taylor and Carlie smiled at her before giving her a pat on the back. "By the way, did you hear that he's working with that Ben guy on a new song?" Taylor asked her friends.
"Seriously?!"
"Yes, seriously." The three girls put their arms around each other's necks as they sat on a nearby bench.
