   Summary

   After being saved from a black merchant ship by Gol D. Roger many years ago, ‘Birdie’, fitting nickname that has stuck after the years, departed soon after on a quest for revenge. Scars are not the only blood-debt to be payed and that journey is hers and hers alone.

   Now after many years, she meets an old friend, reminding her of the people she left behind in her search for redemption.

   Now she has the opportunity to finally open her heart and reconnect with her happier times.

   Shanks’ and OC’s/reader’s history is gonna be gradually shown through flashbacks, interactions, internal monologues and inside jokes. The povs change between crew members and/or the main character but I am pretty much putting you all as readers in the position of all hearing spectators. Never all knowing, rather slowly uncovering the past and future. After all, that is how life is as well.

   Can be read as a reader insert, the mc will have her own characteristics and personality though.
