as much as i
blame it on You,
it was my fault.
i stopped texting You
because if i kept going,
i would have fallen deeper.
but just because i stopped,
didn’t mean when
You reached out,
i wouldn’t respond.
no that’s false.
because i would respond
every single time.
but that doesn’t
make it less
of my fault.
because it still is
but knowing it was my fault
just makes me
miss you more.
i don’t miss you because
i can't see you,
i miss you because
i don't know you anymore.
and that hurts
so much
more.
