Summary
Long before the Mafia was ever formed, there was the Veil.
A faction whispered about in rumors carried on the wind, the Veil built their reputation as a powerful and apocryphal force—one that wielded both magic and strength. No one knows why they operate, or even how they do what they do. Few have ever come face-to-face with a member of the faction.
And those who do rarely live long enough to speak of it.
Yet, eventually, word reaches even the cruelest of people—those who might one day have more blood on their hands than the Veil itself.
And so, the Mafia sends a letter.
