The next few days the wisdom steep pet store was already open. Their grand opening was really successful, both Arin and Roby really happy their plan was working as they eventually got their first and followed by other customers, even got some loyal customers afterwards. Lloyd was also happy as he got a call from Nya, Zane and Pixal. While also Kai, Cole and Jay visited him from their own workplace.
“So do you think this idea is genius or what?” Roby asked Arin after their work shift ended as the two were now enjoying their dinner at the place with Lloyd. “It's awesome!! Also I can't believe we already got 4 loyal and usual customers already” he said excitedly as they continued enjoying their dinner.
While they're enjoying it, there was a silhouette from the sides as if we're watching the two. Arin could feel it as he looked from the sides of his eyes, and saw something from behind the alleyways. The same one as the night before too. Arin immediately stood up and took some food with him.
“Where are you going? Something happened??” Roby asked as he was still eating his food while Arin looked around the corner. “Just wait here for a while” he said and immediately went to the alleyway and heard a rustling sound. He approached the alleyway and behind the crate, he found a small puppy that looked hurt. Arin’s heart was tugged by how sad and hurt the puppy was, “hey little guy, where are you from?” he ask as he tries to pet the puppy but the small guy whimpers and moves backward from him.
“Don’t be afraid. Here, I think you might be hungry” he said as he put down the food for the puppy. It sniffed the food and immediately devoured it in an instant with its tail wagging happily. Making Arin let out a small giggles, “eat it up little guy” Arin then petted the puppy as later the smaller one wagging its tail and barking with much excitement as the small pup licked off his hands and even leaped to Arin and licked his face. “Hehe hey!” he laughed as the puppy pulled away and now ran around him.
Somehow after one big feeding to the puppy, it ended up with Arin taking the small pup to the pet store and deciding to make the pup as the store mascot and pet. “Where did you get that puppy? Aww he looks cute too. We should give him a bath first, he seems to be in a state of being a stray” Roby said every 5 minutes as he was already falling for the cuteness trap of the small dog. So here they are giving the puppy a bath with the help from Lloyd as he is also in charge of drying him while giving it a treat. “For a stray dog, he seems very chilled and not being fussy,” he said as the dog kept licking his face while brushing its fur.
“So what are you going to name him?”
Both Arin and Roby looked at him in surprise, “Him?” they recalled as Lloyd showed that the little puppy is a male.
“He’s a little guy!” Roby said, surprised as then he immediately thought of a name that suits the puppy. Arin then stares at the dog for a while as it tilts his head at Arin with those cute puppy eyes. “How about naming him Riyu? He seems to be a Riyu” he said as Riyu immediately wagged his tail in approval. “Riyu it is! Welcome to the team, little man!” Roby chuckles as Riyu gives him a lick on the cheek. So then Riyu is the new official dog of the wisdom steep pet store.

The next few weeks were very good for the four of them. Lloyd apparently doing much better, Roby and Arin gained a lot of customers without any competition near them, and little Riyu is the cutest samoyed puppy that gained a lot of attention and made him go viral and even helped the store get more popular. Not to mention it tugged on a lot of people's heartstrings as Riyu being cute and helpful and clingy around Arin.
Arin was really happy with it, well almost all. As he often saw Sora around but she never visited the store ever since the opening, making him kinda miss her presence in a way. Well he and her only interacted a few times other than being friendly. But Arin always noticed the little things Sora always does. How her pink hair always covered her marked cheeks, or how often she fiddled with her earphones. Sometimes she would bask her hair with some ointment oil, and even styling her hair into something new. While Arin daydreams about how cool and beautiful she was, Riyu tilting his head as he follows Arin’s stare at the sight of Sora who was just parking her vehicle.
Riyu then takes a small aster flower from his hand and immediately skips around through the road and walks up to Sora. Arin, who noticed the little puppy walking away from them, panicked as he ran after Riyu. “For god sake, Riyu!! Come back here!” he exclaimed but the little pup didn’t hear him as he then stopped in front of Sora as she stopped her walk and stared at him.
“Hello there. Aren’t you a cute puppy?” she awed as Riyu gave her the flower, which make her cooed of how adorable he is. “For me? Thank you.. Riyu” she smiled and just as she was about to pat him, Arin already scooped up Riyu to his arms. “There you are! Oh, hi Sora! Sorry about that” he said and was about to leave, feeling embarrassed by it somehow.
Just as he was about to leave, Sora called out to him and gave him her number. “I saw you were staring from the store and I think you would want ahead. Also, I'm free on the weekend if you want to go to that funfair near here” she winked at him and went back inside the building. Leaving both Arin and Riyu with a phone number in hand, that made him grinning like an idiot afterwards.
