Summary
Upon the death of his best friend, and grappling with the betrayal of the other, Dazai had thought that maybe there really was no point in trying to keep anything sacred to himself. He’d always known that it was a futile endeavour, a persistent thought that he’d never been able to shake since long before he’d found Mori and joined the mafia. However, there’d been a very brief window of time, where he’d hedge to say he’d been almost motivated to try.
The worst week of his life to date, marked by the loss of the things he hadn’t even realized he’d been gripping onto. Between the overwhelm of Odasaku’s warm blood and the all-encompassing feelings of loss he was left to juggle with Ango’s betrayal, well.
