   Summary

   Shane and Ilya finally have something good. They’re living so close to each other, can see each other pretty much whenever they want, and well, things are working, aren’t they? Sure, Ilya’s playing on a barely stitched together team and Shane is feeling more ostracized than ever by his own, but it’s good. Really. After all, for how long it took, they finally found this little bit of peace.

   Of course it can't last forever. When Ilya takes a blade to the neck in the middle of a game against Montreal everything they've come to know is thrown into chaos.
