Affection - How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Mylo prefers physical touch, but can compromise via personal time and acts of service. He wants to give what little he has to his darling. Through the eyes of a human he is the son of a single mother and learning under her how to work on the docks, a family who has a suspicious amount of luck, perhaps. Through the eyes of a fellow witch/wizard, he is an accomplished technology wizard who creates in order to help his mother wherever he can, he feels guilty enough not telling her about the witch world, as is prohibited after the Salem witch trials. Either way, you will become deeply aquanted with him as a harmless boy who just wants some friends.
Blood - How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
He isn't shy of blood, his entire existence as a wizard is destroying evil and darkness. If he feels someone is posing a danger to you, he'll act viciously but quickly, he doesn't derive joy from murder, it is merely a method to protect the object of his desire. For other 'hurdles' that aren't dangerous, a friend, family member, mentor, etc that's uncovering too much... He'll always try to eliminate them using the path of no bloodshed, however, when forced, he will only feel a small amount of guilt killing them. If a new job opportunity somewhere far away, or a sudden family emergency isn't good enough for them to abandon search for his darling, he'll remove them permanently.
Cruelty - How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
Mylo would treat his darling like a worshipper would treat their god. You'll be tied down of course, but you get the best pieces of meat from his plate, you'll never go hungry or get hurt. He would never make fun of his darling, he wants you to accept your situation as soon as possible, and mocking or hurting his darling would never come to mind, he would be horrified at the idea.
Darling - Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
Not too much, mostly physical affection and him wanting to teach everything he knows to a human darling about the witch world. He's affectionate, and one of the ways that outs itself is through wanting to share knowledge with those he loves. So you would likely spend a lot of your time pressed into his side as he reads you all of his school books. The alternative would be simply sitting opposite of you, although he would try to get his touches in wherever he could without making his darling too uncomfortable. (Like: taking your hand to guide you to feel certain herbs necessary for potions, requesting to brush your hair, style it, help with a hijab each morning and place clips or pins in it, help adorn his darling with jewelry... Whatever you need, he is yours to order around.)
Exposed - How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
He bares the entire thing, his father was abusive, and only after his mother was beaten within an inch of her life, did the victorian courts finally allow her to get a divorce. Growing up in a world like that, it made him want to be better, he wanted to be the husband his mother and many woman did not get. His first step to being a good husband would be telling his darling everything, including his magic identity if you're human. So you would know everything of his life, his insecurities, the things that bring him stress, sometimes he'll even blurt out his thoughts right when they form sometimes.
Fight - How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Oh he would hate this, he doesn't want to fight you! If you somehow do manage to get free from your restraints, he'll even attempt to pin you down without magic, not wanting to scare you, however he's not particularly strong, so if his darling is stronger or taller than him and fights him off, he'll be forced to use his magic to drag you back to the bed he'd been keeping you on. He doesn't like this and hopes you don't think he was trying to scare you...
Game - Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
This the furthest thing from a game for him, he does intend for this to become an official relationship. He hates watching his darling try to escape, besides the abduction part, he would feel like it is a sign he isn't trying hard enough to make you happy, especially if you're particularly rich. The magic school certainly makes sure he and his mother and well taken care of, but it's not like they provide him with the money your average french noble family has. Still, it would eat him alive that he can't buy you the latest, most fashionable dresses. Or the heels that are promoted in the newspaper in the ladies' section.
Hell - What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
Whilst there there's nothing Mylo would ever want to subject you to, you may very well witness someone die before your eyes if a situation gets out of control. Whether that's someone attempting to attack you or take drastic measures to help you escape from him. He would panic and take the drastic option, that scared instinct would take over and make sure the threat was exterminated permanently. He's severely held back by the fact he can't simply learn a memory wipe spell...
Ideals - What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?
A committed relationship with both him and you living in the witch world in a cozy home. (only moving over to the other world when his mother unfortunately passes away. He isn't abandoning her in her elder years) Preferably a couple of children aswell that could attend the very school he once attended! Building up a life there would be much easier and it could give him the actual funds to live a comfortable, middle class life with you.
Jealousy - Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
He does get jealous, however it would need to be fairly clear that the person is actually courting you before he takes action. He won't react violently, as he doesn't believe you to be his property, more like a soulmate. Soulmates usually take time to find each other! Naturally there will be some.... Difficulties. He does his best to separate you two, using magic if necessary. He knows multiple potions and spells, he doesn't even need to learn anything from the black magic book, lord knows it's impossible to even reach it without permission... But legal potions work just fine... Just a couple of drops in whatever Mylo can get his hands on that his rival is sure to consume, and the bakery owner who hired him will fire him for dozing off too much at work! That morning tea will be done without a flirting worker by your side.
Kisses - How do they act around or with their darling?
Before abduction, he's very skittish, he'll make the first move but he'd have a tendency of cutting the conversation short if he feels like he's ruining his chances. If you work close to him, maybe as another teen helping their parent or a witch/wizard. It would be much easier for him, however he can use magic, so following his darling around during the day isn't so difficult, even if you're all the way across the country.
Love letters - How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
The perfect gentleman, even if he is on a tight budget. He'd do his best to give gifts, mainly handcrafted ones. That could include an array of things: handstiched clothes, small presents made from trinkets he was able to buy, leftovers from dinner, if there are any. Most dishes involving fish as he lives and works around the docks and fishermen. And occasionally, he'll show up with something made in the witch world. You'd (if human) marvel at how it was made, a metal bird that could move and sing, but it was completely fake! No real bird inside to make the illusion complete. Naturally you ask about it, and Mylo simply grins and says "you would never believe me if i told you... But i will tell you, one day."
Mask - Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
Not really, beyond the clear romantic attraction he has and the fact he's a wizard. He is still the shy boy, looking down at his shoes and blushing when you say anything positive. (he's rather happy you can't see his red cheeks because of his darker skin tone... It would embarrass him to no end!) It's jarring to see him like this, no doubt. He abducted you, keeping you somewhere private, clearly still close to the ocean as you can hear and even smell the the salt water, but he has told you repeatedly that there's no way someone could hear you.
Naughty - How would they punish their darling?
He's not in the business of punishing, he finds the fact his darling: as a human in the late 1800's France, who has never seen real magic before, being stuck with a wizard, punishment enough. His magic must be terrifying to you everytime he uses it...
If you're a witch/wizard he considers stealing your wand and thereby your magic, punishment enough also. Having no wand to defend yourself or use it in your everyday life must feel like a severe handicap.
Oppression - How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Mostly the ability to move freely and use your magic (if you have any). Otherwise he respects your boundaries as much as he can.
Patience - How patient are they with their darling?
Very patient. He can wait years, although with how sweet he is, he'll likely not have to wait that long before your Stockholm Syndrome sets in. He never gets upset or angry, he'll take your 'outbursts' in stride and try to find anything to make your happy,
Quit - If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
Never. He's deeply loyal and bonds deeply with those he loves, he'll never stop looking for you if you managed to escape. He'd immediately bring you back, crying out of joy from seeing you again. If you die, your grave will be the most decorated and well cared for thing in his backyard.
Regret - Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
He would feel guilty about the abduction itself, even when believing that it is fate, he would feel guilty about the fact he has to restrict you so much. He keeps reminding himself it is a means to an end, that you be happy in the nearby future.... He just has to stick it out...
Stigma - What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
Partly his childhood and the believe in soulmates. His childhood shaped him to want to be a good man, and he has been sticking to that philosophy all of his life. Falling in love made it all do much worse, he wanted to protect you from the entire world! So many people we're out to hurt others! He couldn't let you become another case of abuse at the hands of a bad husband... He would never lay a hand on you... Hence why he's the best choice!
Tears - How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Terrible, absolutely terrible. He might even burst into tears himself, begging to let him help, whatever you wanted, he'd do everything in his power to get it to you, even if it was just for a couple of days, as he could maybe ask a friend to borrow whatever it is your sweet heart wants.
Unique - Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
He's be very gentle. You'd hardly believe this boy could cause so much destruction and the occasional death. You'd be naturally weary of him, but he'd never give you a reason to doubt him. The things you destroy, the names you call him would all have no effect. Even in your most 'ugly' moments he'd never stop staring at you with anything less than complete adoration.
Vice - What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
His trust. Once you gain it, which won't be difficult, he'll start giving you free rein of the tiny house. Be warned though, if he catches you after you escape, he won't trust so easily again, no matter how much he wants to believe your honeyd words and sweet nicknames. If you managed to escape and caught twice you will have to wait many years to get even the simplest freedom of walking around the bed with a longer chain. He won't like it, but he can't let it happen again.
Wit’s end - Would they ever hurt their darling?
No, you are the porcelain doll he had to preserve every piece of. You will look well cared for and pristine whilst he might very well be thin and covered in bruises and scratch marks from you fighting back.
Xoanon - How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
You are his fated soulmate to him, the one he was meant to live his life with. He'd do a lot to win you over, you can ask for any food, more or less date nights, gifts on a whim, more attention, less attention. The days as a captive are yours to fill in with your hobbies (if they're indoors or you have gained enough of his trust for outside hobbies.)
Yearn - How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
He'd want to start courting immediately. So your first interaction would be him gifting you something and it would evolve from there, i think a couple months at most before he abducts you.
Zenith - Would they ever break their darling?
That is a hard no for him. He wants you. Your personality, your characteristics, your humor, your interests... Not a mindless doll. Infact, he'd do everything to prevent it. If you ever slip into it by yourself, he'd immediately start a new routine to pep you back up, walking through nature (with your hands still chained behind your back), preforming your hobbies with you, letting you cook with him helping you, if that's something you find joy in. Prehaps even letting you preform a bit of magic! (If both your and his hand are on the handle so he could still control the situation.)
