Summary
Mike laughs, jostling Will’s head and earning himself a petulant, unimpressed look. “You’re the one who decided to put both of our bed frames out on the curb before this one even got here,” Mike tells him. He rests an apologetic hand on Will’s lower back, caresses the curve of his spine.
“I did do that, yes,” Will says thoughtfully. He looks off into the distance, tapping a hand pointedly against his chin. “Although now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t know why I did…”
“Something about how committed you are to me…” Mike puts his other hand on Will’s back too, pulling him a little closer, their torsos flush.
“I never said that,” Will says, laughing.
“Reading between the lines,” Mike dismisses. “And you were saying— oh right, something about commitment to our bed—”
Will giggles lightly and shakes his head. “I never said that either.”
Mike and Will build a new bed frame. Will definitely contributes just as much manual labor to the effort as Mike does.
