   Summary

   Rarity knew perfectly well that Applejack did not reciprocate her feelings. It was completely alright, of course it was; that’s just the way things were. She knew that Applejack and Rainbow Dash had been dancing around each other for years, she’d made her piece with it.

   Or at least, she thought she had.

   She hadn’t expected to begin to cough up flower petals, it hadn’t been the plan at all. And when Rainbow Dash needed a place to stay, Twilight had insisted that she’d stay with Rarity, thinking it would be mutually beneficial. Rarity would receive help for her illness, and Rainbow would have a place to stay.

   She was pretty sure she was doomed.

   (She’s not as doomed as she thinks.)
