Work Text:
Athena: Your honor, my student has gone soft. And I asked my uncle Hades to bring his dead friends to attest.
Odysseus:OBJECTION!
Judge:Objection rejected.
*Polites walks in, all sunshine and rainbows *
Polites:Hello! What are we doing?
Judge:We're here because Athena claims Odysseus has gone soft.
Polites:Ody? Gone soft? Why no, your honor. In fact, we shouldn't be doing this and instead we should be greeting the world with open arms! Greet the world and each other with open arms, my friends!
Athena:No!
Odysseus:Yes! Thank you, Polites! In fact, please explain your whole philosophy and why we should use mercy.
*Polites immediately lights up and starts the lecture. Meanwhile Hades, sitting in a corner and eating popcorn *
