Blue releases a long sigh, with a smile on his face. Today’s practice for an upcoming show was tiring, but he knew that it was needed. And he was proud of himself.The top of his outfit fit slipped off of him easily. He put it on his silk bedsheets and looked at it. It was a symbol to him, of who he was and what he represents. He was looking at it while deep in thought, then he heard the voice of his beloved.
“Blue! I finished the days criminell patrol and-“
Yellow’s face dropped to a slight orange when his eyes gazed upon blue’s chest. “IMSORRYBLUEIDIDNTMEANTOWALKINISHOULDVEKNOCKEDAND-AND-“ The cowboy tried to explain himself, turning oranger as a stuttered and stumbled over his words, until he heard a small chuckle from the other flower.
“Dear, there is no need to be flustered nor embarrassed. You’ve seen me bare-chested before anyways. Why is this time any different?” Blue asked Yellow.
“W-well, I came in without yer permissions Blue! Seeing you like this without asking… it doesn’t just make me a criminell, it makes a a perverted criminell!” The cowboy exclaimed.
“Yellow… you can never be a criminal in my eyes.” Blue said softly.
“R-really?” Yellow looked up at Blue, who was gently staring at yellow back.
“Yes dear, really.” Blue responded. Then a lightbulb went off in Blue’s head. “Dear, would you like to take a shower with me?” He asked.
“Jeez Blue, I would love to, but just thinkin about it puts butterflies in my head!” The cowboy scratched his head in confusion.
“Dear if you feel uncomfortable, than you can say no.” Blue assured the cowboy.
“Oh it’s not that! I’m just a lil nervous, since this is my first time showerin with somebody…” Yellow mumbled, the orange was returning to his face.
“It’s my first time too. No need to be embarrassed my beloved.” The ballerina held his hand out, and it was greeted with the warmth of the cowboys hand.
The sound of the shower running wasn’t unfamiliar, contrary to the experience that the two flowers were sharing. Yellow kept his eyes off of blue for the first minute until blue whispered “Yellow my dear, look me in my eyes.” Yellow shifted his gaze to Blue’s eyes, all nervousness melting away. Blue reached out his hand and was once again met with Yellows hand. “Yellow… nudity isn’t something to be ashamed of. It can represent purity, innocence, and much other lovely things. That’s why I wanted to shower with you. To be those lovely things with you…”
“You think I’m lovely Blue?” Yellow said surprisingly.
“The loveliest in the world.” Blue responded.
Yellows feet move closer to Blues on the wet surface. The cowboys arms wrapped around the ballerinas body. It was a surprise to blue, but it was a welcomed surprise. Blue wrapped his arms around yellow back. The two just stood there for a while. Feeling each other while warm water drips down their backs. It was comfortable though, and it was one another’s way of showing trust.
Blue slipped a bonnet over his hair and entered his bed, with a cow boy at his side. Yellow fell asleep the moment he was in blue’s arms, while the ballerina watched as Yellow slept.
