Dream sat slouched on the stone block. His mask covering his face completely with that iconic smile.
The skies were bright and shining with a nice shade of morning to afternoon blue, but it didn’t feel really hot. The strong breeze maintained the temperature nicely.
Leaves follower and danced alongside the wind, as the weather and days symbolize a “fresh” start to this new server he had made; named specifically after him.
The community house wasn’t finished yet — but it looked like it had a pretty nice beginning so far. Only one member besides him was active today, and that made this everlasting silence feel quite satisfying.
Nobody spoke; and the only thing Dream could hear were birds chirping and his concerningly shallow breath. Sunlight hit his face lightly — like a warm embrace.
His hotbar didn’t have a lot of food currently, but enough to last him for a while until he has to kill more again. He doubts this server will last longer than just a Minecraft Veteran’s “Two Week Minecraft Phase”.
Nothing happened in these types of days, and he liked looking at his green little jacket with a design every once in a while; strangely it felt comforting. His eyes closed shut, preparing to just take a nap in this place again.
It felt nice to just stay here forever, in the beginnings of a new small little Minecraft Server. No griefing, no wars, no doomed ya- I mean relationships — just him and a few other people he cares about.
George was probably chopping down trees from far away, enjoying himself or probably in the most life threatening situation possible in this snapshot.
Everything feels too valuable to lose today, he doesn’t know why or how he thinks that way in the first place anyway. Maybe tomorrow he’ll end up dying from a cliff and lose his stuff.
The position he was originally in felt uncomfortable — he sat back down, posture slouched and appearance quite drowsy. He turned his mask sideways to show half of his face; and to also let himself feel the wind.
Dull emerald green eyes with a strange warden like color tint gazed into the sun, his poor eyesight can never get him to see the world in a whole new perspective; no eyesight conditions and just see this place clearly.
But for sure, Dream already knew this place was divine. As a shallow wave of drowsiness gets through him, he closes his eyes and begins to drift away to sleep.
”Hey.”
George’s strange, soul eyes look at him through the shades, his calm demeanor and expression say that everything is totally fine. He wasn’t sure if Dream was even awake — but something inside him thinks he is.
Everything remained at a steady pace — no TNT, no explosions, no yelling, no wars, and absolutely nothing that could activate an adrenaline rush.
There was an awkward silence among the place, even with it’s welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. George waited patiently for Dream to respond to what he said; silent and abit unnerving.
The blond took a small breath, and decided to finally break the silence and respond to the patiently waiting George infront of him. (What ever that meant.)
”Hey.” Just that. As simple as that.
”Aren’t you busy?”
”I. . . thought you weren’t online for a second, I decided to find you after I finished gathering stuff I guess.” It was a plain sentence, but felt normal.
A bit, too normal.
”Oh. I’ve been here for atleast 5 hours, I didn’t know what to do since Hypixel was kinda boring to me after a pretty long time — the only thing I could do was actually just farm streaks.”
A small chuckle came out of George as he heard that remark, a distant messagw saying he was actually listening. Thankfully, he was — since George always seemed to zone out when Dream talked for a long time.
Both sat together on the stone blocks, aharing a nice comfortable silence within the quiet atmosphere of the two. They could hear eachother’s shallow breaths, whenever the birds stopped tweaking.
”tweet! Tweet..! Twe- tweeet!”
”BUCKAK. BUCKAK.”
Dream looked through the horizon to see what the fuck was that, only to realize the birds are having their own conversation or actually eavesdropping their’s for fun.
The two remained in their own positions, sitting together like a couple in the park feeding some geese for fun after a long day of work. Not that they were a couple, though. He was pretty sure George was as straight as a triangle.
“Do you think this server will turn out bad?” Dream asked, he didn’t know why he thought of that — but it was a deeply concerning question for George.
Dream’s eyes showed a spark of curiosity inside them, like a small curious child who’s spark for life hasn’t been thrown away or just gone.
George let out a short, small laugh at that question.
”Why did you think of that in the first place though?” George smiled for a second, his demeanor turning a bit formal to seem like he knew what he was going to answer.
”Honestly. . .I don’t know. It just felt pretty deep.”
”I can probably agree with you in that.”
”You never agree with me unless whatever I’m spewing from my mouth is reasonable.”
”Those are rare occasions.”
”You sure?”
It felt like time paused for a moment to give Dream a small break, just to loosen himself and truly think with the colorblind man beside him today.
”Well, I think it might turn out a bit bad if we lose the order and concept of rules here — like a genuine free for all Fortnite game.” George answered with an actual meaning, and to be honest Dream genuinely thought that George was foreshadowing something from the books to make him doubt this SMP again.
In all honesty, that was probably George’s intent in the first place once again. He’s been getting a bit predictable recently, too predictable. (Or he’s just plotting something against him like always.)
Until the end of time, he’ll probably be stuck with himself and the Dream Team alongside some other very specific individuals — like a cycle.
”We’ll probably stay like this forever.”
”Probably, yeah.”
