Lysa had not returned to the sea in a long time. It called to her, stronger by the day. Her place was here, though. She had told herself that for many a year. Her nature could be overcome. It had to be. For the sake of her son, and her family by marriage.
To be a siren was to be dangerous and seductive. Lysa knew that well. Many men had desired her and her sister. More had desired Catelyn than her, though, and she couldn’t help her jealousy. Catelyn got everything Lysa wanted. Everything, and more. Bitterness ate her alive.
