    Slowly, as if drawing it out would change the outcome, Buck turned to face his best friend. His basic co-parent and, because someone out there had a sick sense of humour, the second person to hear his love confession, mere moments after he'd had the revelation for himself.

    “Ha - yeah man - I know that.” He cleared his throat and pretended he couldn’t see the way Eddie was staring at him like he’d blown his world apart.
