A Hero From Out Of Space

Summary:

Hey guys! This is a rewrite of my first book (still available on Wattpad if you wanna look for it), for those whose been looking forward to this enjoy!

Life is full of unexpected twists.
Like that time a boy chased after a runaway robot and ended up uncovering an alien plot to conquer Earth, setting off a chain of events that turned him and his friends into superheroes. Or the time the legendary master of all Elementals appeared, not to teach or protect, but to steal the boy's power for his own selfish gain.

But this time... This time it's different.

Because this isn't a problem he can solve with a quick punch or by zapping some rando alien.
This time, the problem is much bigger, because this time, he's stranded in another world entirely. A world with new rules, unfamiliar faces, and powers that work nothing like his own.

And the biggest question isn't how to fight...

...it's whether BoBoiBoy will ever find a way back home-

or if he's destined to live in this strange world forever.

Chapter Text

"Ugh..."

Boboiboy groaned as he slowly regained consciousness. His eyelids felt heavy, and a sharp pain stung through the skin of his hand. Everything around him was white, with the sterile scent of antiseptics thick in the air. His whole body ached.

'Was he in Tempur A’s infirmary?'

As his eyes adjusted to the brightness, he noticed a boy with green, curly hair and freckles sitting by the bedside, looking at him with concern.

"Thank goodness you're awake. I was so worried about you," the boy said.

Boboiboy didn’t understand what the boy was saying, even though he vaguely recognized it as Japanese, so he gestured for him to wait. Then he pointed at the orange vest placed nearby, he was currently wearing hospital clothes. The boy passed it to him, and Boboiboy reached into the pocket, pulling out a small pill.

It was one of Solar's inventions, a language translation pill. He could almost hear Solar bragging about how much of a genius he was. Boboiboy hadn't expected to use it so soon, the taste was nearly as bad as Yaya’s infamous biscuits.

As he swallowed the pill with great difficulty and nearly choked, the boy quickly handed him a glass of water.

"You okay?" he asked.

Still dazed, Boboiboy tried to make sense of the situation.

'So I’m in a hospital... The last thing I remember is that stupid Adudu shooting me with some kind of laser, then that sensation, like I was falling from the sky.'

"Ugh… where am I?" he asked, now understanding the boy’s language.

"Oh, you're at Musutafu Hospital," the boy replied.

Boboiboy nodded slowly.

'Musutafu? That sounds definitely Japanese... Don’t tell me I was teleported here! But how?!'

He tried to recall the last battle. Adudu had been using a new type of weapon, supposedly bought from BagoGo. It wasn’t the usual kind, still fired lasers, still shaped like a high tech bazooka, but something about it felt... off, different. And there was another beam, one that didn't come from Adudu...

"Are you alright? Is anything hurting?" the boy asked again, worry etched across his face.

"I'm okay. My name is Boboiboy. I assume you’re the one who brought me here right, thank you."

"Ah, nice to meet you, Boboiboy and you're welcome! I'm Midoriya Izuku. My mentor and I were the ones who found you and brought you here!"

A few moments later, Boboiboy noticed his power watch wasn’t on his wrist. Panic gripped him as he realized his cap was also missing. He was about to get up when he saw both his watch and cap resting on the desk beside the bed. As he reached for them, pain shot through his entire body.

Midoriya quickly helped retrieve the power watch for him.

"You shouldn’t push yourself like that. Your body still needs rest," he said gently.

Boboiboy sighed and nodded. 'Thanks to that green-box-headed alien, I’m in this mess... He really got us good this time.'

Luckily, the power watch wasn’t damaged, not even a scratch. He tried contacting his team but only got static instead of the usual connection tone. That was odd. Solar had upgraded the watch extensively. It should’ve worked.

Midoriya, watching him curiously, asked, "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to contact my friends, but it seems like it's not working."

"Oh, is your watch some kind of communication device, like a phone?"

"Ah not exactly. It can only contact my teammates’ watches, it's a special kind of tech. Only my team and I have it."

Midoriya nodded and began muttering to himself, which made BoBoiBoy sweatdrop a little.

"By the way, where exactly did you find me?" Boboiboy asked.

Midoriya explained that he and his mentor had been heading to the beach for training when they found BoBoiBoy unconscious on the shore. He was in such a bad state that they rushed him to the hospital immediately.

Meanwhile it was chaos inside the Power Watch

On one side we can hear Halilintar and Blaze spitting profanities like it out of style "DAMN THAT GREEN BOX-HEADED ALIEN!!! HOW DARE HE DO THIS TO OUR PARTNER?! IF I SEE HIM AGAIN, I'M GONNA #%$!##&!$##%#!%#@$%!"

Meanwhile, the other elementals were already formulating a plan to stop Halilintar and Blaze from going overboard, again... Or at least minimize the property damage.

"Well, at least thanks to Midoriya, BoBoiBoy got treated right away. We owe him." Gempa sigh with gratitude.

"Agreed!! All other exclaims.

Bact to the outside of power watch BoBoiBoy began asking Izuku more about this "quirk" he had mentioned earlier. Izuku looked surprised but gladly explained.

"How do you not know what a quirk is? It is a unique ability, kind of like a superpower. Most people get theirs around age four. About 80% of the world’s population has one. Unfortunately the 20% rest don’t."

"I'm kind of a late bloomer though," he added with a chuckle. "Mine only showed up a few weeks ago."

Boboiboy silently processed the information. 'Okay, so this definitely isn’t the Earth I know. Even if the name’s the same, there’s no way 80% of humans have quirks and I’ve never heard of it. That means... this is a different dimension.'

Izuku noticed Boboiboy lost in thought but then turned his attention to the door. A woman entered the room with a warm smile and a relieved expression.

"Ah, you’re awake. The doctor said you can be discharged tomorrow. May I know where your home is?" she asked.

Boboiboy stared blankly, unsure how to answer.

'I can’t exactly say "My home’s probably lightyears away" or "I’m from another dimension," can I...?'

"Well… you see, I’m kind of… homeless right now. I suddenly teleported here, and I don’t know how to return. I can’t even contact my friends."

The woman and Izuku looked shocked and exchanged glances.

"Mom, how about Boboiboy stays with us? He still needs a few days to recover," Izuku suggested.

"Of course," the woman said warmly. "He can stay until his family comes. I’m Midoriya Inko, Izuku’s mother. Nice to meet you, Boboiboy."

At first, Boboiboy tried to refuse. He felt guilty, he had already cost them hospital fees, and she had even bought him new clothes since his old ones were torn. But after some back and forth, he finally relented and thanked her for her kindness.

'Still... it’s weird that I can’t contact the others. I really hope my prediction is wrong.'

The next morning, Boboiboy was discharged. He packed the few things he had, his cap, power watch, and the clothes Midoriya-san had bought, and left with Izuku and his mother to their apartment. It was a cozy home. Midoriya-san showed him to the guest room, which was quite spacious with a bed, desk, bookshelf, and a window facing east with a balcony.

During his stay in the hospital, BoBoiBoy had been quietly gathering information from newspapers and TV. As a TAPOPS member, he had been trained to analyze and observe. From what he learned, this world’s legal system revolved heavily around something called the "Quirk Usage Law."

With that temporarily pushed to the back of his mind, another concern lingered, how did Adudu get access to such advanced, possibly interdimensional weaponry?

'There’s no way BagoGo had that kind of tech. It was just a laser vendor! And what about that second beam? It didn’t come from Adudu...'

'I need to talk to Solar when I can.'

Midoriya-san, noticing he was deep in thought, called out to him.

"So Boboiboy dear... Do you mind telling us what your quirk is? Mine is a minor telekinesis, see?"

She moved her fingers and some nearby objects floated into her hand.

"Whoa!" Boboiboy blinked several times, then turned to Izuku with an amazed expression.

Izuku was just as curious.

"Ah, my quirk is element manipulation. Right now, I can control eight elements. I'm also a late bloomer, my quirk appeared when I was ten."

Both Izuku and Inko stared at him in shock.

"That’s... a lot of quirks. They don’t harm your body, do they?" she asked, concerned.

"It’s alright. I’ve been training to control them ever since I got them. It was tough, but I managed."

She sighed in relief and walked toward the kitchen. Izuku sat beside BoBoiBoy, scribbling furiously in his notebook.

Boboiboy looked over at the kitchen.

'She’s probably preparing lunch...'

"Midoriya-san, is it okay if I cook for us today?"

"But Boboiboy dear, you just got out of the hospital! You shouldn’t push yourself," she said, clearly worried.

"I’ll be fine! I’m used to doing this kind of thing. It’s the least I can do after everything you’ve done for me."

Inko sigh as she definitely know stubborn when she sees one "Very well, but don’t overdo it!"

"Yes, ma’am!" he replied cheerfully and began preparing lunch.

"I’ll help set the table," Izuku offered.

Boboiboy stood in the kitchen as he planning to cook with the ingredients that were available.

'Now what to cook?'

He asked the Midoriyas if they had any requests, but they told him to make whatever he liked. So he decided on Tok Aba’s Special Fried Rice, he missed it dearly, and the ingredients were all available anyway.

Once the food was ready, he called the others.

"This is amazing, Boboiboy! You never us you were such a great cook!" Inko exclaimed.

"Yeah! This is the best fried rice I’ve ever had!" Izuku added between mouthfuls.

"Hehehe, thanks! I guess I had the best teacher in the world," BoBoiBoy replied with a smile.

"Can I have the recipe? I’d love to make it for lunch when school starts," Inko asked excitedly.

"Of course! Tok Aba always said I could share it with anyone who loves the dish."

"Tok Aba?" Izuku asked.

"Ah, he’s my grandpa. I’ve lived with him since I was 12 because my parents are always away for work."

"So you live with your grandpa then," Izuku confirmed as BoBoiBoy nodded.

Meanwhile inside the Watch Gempa is gushing like the proud group mom he is "Of course the food’s amazing! Where do you think he got his cooking talent?"

"Here we go again... Gempa’s proud parent mode." All other Elementals sweatdropped.

"What it’s true. Only BoBoiBoy can rival my sweets and Gempa’s cooking." Well almost everyone.

"Eh fair enough."

Back at Outside, after lunch, BoBoiBoy tried to help with the dishes, but Inko insisted he rest while Izuku got ready for his training session with his mentor.

BoBoiBoy returned to his room and lay down on the bed, unintentionally falling fast asleep.

Izuku wiped sweat from his forehead as he caught his breath after hauling another scraps of trash onto the pick-up truck. His mentor, All Might, stood in front of him, arms crossed and smiling proudly.

"You’ve improved, young Midoriya. You’re getting stronger each day," All Might said.

"Thank you!" Izuku beamed, though his thoughts drifted back to the strange boy they had found the day before.

"Ano, Sensei… about that kid, BoBoiBoy. He said he can manipulate eight elements. It doesn’t sound like any quirk I’ve ever heard of..."

All Might tilted his head thoughtfully. "Hmm. That is unusual. But not entirely unheard of. Take Endeavor son, for example, I know he inherited two powerful quirks from his parents, fire and ice. There are rare cases like his, where quirks combine into something complex or versatile."

Izuku nodded. "That makes sense… but BoBoiBoy said he controls eight elements, not two. And with the way he talked about it, it sounded so natural, like it’s something he’s trained with for years."

All Might’s gaze grew thoughtful. "It could be a highly evolved hybrid quirk, or even a unique multi-trait mutation. There are still a lot of things about quirks that even the best scientists don’t fully understand young Midoriya."

Izuku glanced down at his notebook, already scribbled with pages of notes. "He said it started when he was ten… a little late, but not impossible, the latest recorder quirk emergence is twelve years old after all. And he seems perfectly healthy, even with that kind of power."

"And that is all what matters," All Might said with a firm nod. "If his body can handle it and he’s learned to control it, then he’s clearly disciplined. That kind of quirk, though, one that covers multiple elements, would take a great deal of focus to control. It’s impressive for someone his age."

Izuku smiled, determination flaring in his eyes. "I want to learn more about it. Not just because it's rare… but because he’s trying so hard, even when he doesn’t know where he is or how to get back to his friends. He’s not just powerful, he’s brave."

All Might clapped a hand on Izuku’s shoulder. "Then help him however you can, young Midoriya. Understanding another person’s strength starts with trust."

"Yes, Sensei!"

As the sky turned gold with the setting sun, the two heroes began packing up their things, heading back toward the city.
