   Summary

   The pain is so intense at first that Parrot can't process what's happening. Saps’s fangs slide smoothly into his flesh, piercing the skin effortlessly, when it finally hits him a few seconds later.

   Parrot screams.

   For a few seconds, he's convinced that Saps is eating him, the unnatural creature deciding to skip the step of killing him and choosing to eat him while he still breathes. But Saps doesn't bite through him, instead opting to lock his jaw in place with his fangs inside his neck.
