   Summary

   Gwayne Hightower and Ormund Hightower have been mates for fifteen years, raising Daeron Hightower as their own son. Their family is loving but strained by Ormund's untreated OCD, autism, rigid routines, and violent outbursts, which have left Gwayne and Daeron constantly navigating his moods.
