Summary
The first time Shane walked in on Ilya Rozanov having sex in a bathroom, it was an accident.
The second and third times were accidents, too. Mostly. Almost.
The fourth time, though. The one that changes everything.
What’s the opposite of an accident?
On purpose? Well, that’s hard to deny. Chosen? Same, although Shane doesn’t remember making any choices specifically, always feeling instead that the choice had already been made. Inevitable? It feels that way, sometimes, because if two is a coincidence and three is a pattern, what else is four?
Fated? No, that’s a little romantic, a little dramatic, and this thing with Rozanov is a lot of things but it isn’t that.
