   Summary

   She was spoiled, she realized. Not spoiled rotten like the Celestial Dragons she had been living amongst for these past years, but spoiled in the sense that she grew up loved and treasured. Spoiled in that she was able to grow and learn and thrive, protected by the flag of the freest pirate crew in the world. A fresh bead of blood rolled down her forearm and dripped onto the marble. She watched it land, distantly, the way she used to watch rain hit the deck.

   Spoiled… in the sense that she had taken all of that for granted - until it was suddenly ripped away from her and Figarland Garling, in a twisted sense of revenge against her parents perhaps, had stolen her away to Mary Geoise.
