   Summary

   Paris, 1833

   Henry is now Heinrich Bauer, a respectable wool merchant in Paris, who visits Brother Darius every week for a game of chess and leads a staid and placid life.

   Until a very pretty thief by the name of Amanda picks the lock on his front door and lets herself into his house…and then into his heart.

   Although I would recommend reading the rest of the series, I think this story can be enjoyed on its own.
