IT ALL FELL DOWN
The city was burning. Klaus was trying to get everyone to safety, The small fight Elijah had with Mikael didn't end well and he was feeling like he failed. He watched Niklaus frantically try to run and something in him snapped. He ran out into the streets and Klaus lost sight of him.
"Elijah!" He called out panicked. He ran out to the street and found Elijah and Mikael standing across from one another.
"Elijah lets go" he said tugging on Elijahs arm. Elijah glared at Mikael.
"No" he said firmly.
Niklaus pulled on his arm again "Its not worth it, lets move!!"
"I don't want to fight you again Elijah move out of the way"
"No." Elijah said again. "Leave Niklaus"
Klaus growled "Im not leavi-""Leave!" Elijah snapped looking at Klaus.
Klaus looked into Elijah's eyes. There was a fury there he hadn't seen before. He took a step back and then dashed away behind him.
Mikael tried to follow him and Elijah dashed in front of him "This ends, now"
"You don't have the strength, and I don't have the time, you tried to fight me already son, let it go"
"NO" Elijah shouted and decked Mikael across the face. Mikael took the hit and then dash tackled Elijah to the ground. Elijah rolled with him and then bit into his neck hard. Mikael let out a cry and threw Elijah off of himself.
"Stop, Defending him Elijah, you know what he's done!"
"Nothing he's ever done will compare to what you have, FIGHT ME" Elijah dashed at Mikael again and Mikael swing kicked him across the head knocking him to the ground. Elijah hurried back to his feet and dash, swung at Mikael. Mikael weaved and struck Elijah hard on his back.
"Stop it Elijah! I don't want to kill you!"
Elijah growled and got back up. "I, am going to kill, you!" Elijah dashed at Mikael and Mikael dashed away from him but, with Elijahs speed he caught up to him and threw himself into Mikael. The two broke into a burning building and both hit the floor with force.
Mikael groaned and rolled to one side. Elijah shook his head and once he'd recovered he dashed at Mikael and stole the white oak from him and kicked him as hard as he could.
Mikael grunted and rolled away from Elijah very close to the fire. He slowly got to his feet and stared at Elijah who was gripping the stake tight.
"Alright, you have the stake now Elijah, you have choice now, run, go back to that, creature, and hope, I don't find you again, or, kill me, if you really think you can."
Elijah breathed heavily turning the stake in his hand. Parts of the building they were in started to fall and the fire grew bigger. "I'm not, leaving until your dead."
"Fine" Mikael dashed at Elijah and kicked him square in the chest out of the building and onto the street.
Elijah hit the ground clinging to the stake. He coughed up blood and tried to get back up.
Mikael stalked out of the building and up to Elijah reaching for the stake. Elijah then rolled out of the way and pulled himself back up.
"You still have a warriors heart" Mikael said standing there.
"Don't" Elijah demanded and lunged at Mikael. Mikael caught him and the fight continued. Elijah took hits, Mikael took hits the, two beat each other into the ground. Mikael was losing strength. Elijah was also but he forced the pain down and pinned Mikael to the ground straddling his legs. He put his hand around Mikaels throat and tightened it. Mikael gasped for breath and tried to struggle.
Elijah tightened his grip then took the stake in his hand. "For Niklaus" Elijah thrust the stake into Mikaels chest and mikaels eyes widened staring at Elijah. Something soft rose out of him and he tried to speak but his throat caught the words and he choked. His body started to dessicate and Elijah pressed the stake farther into Mikaels chest. All at once Mikaels body lit on fire and Elijah's eyes widened and he dashed away from the flames.
Niklaus watched from a near by building. His eyes burning with rage and tears. He slowly walked up to Elijah.
"You did it" he said softly.
Elijah turned his head towards Klaus. "You were supposed to leave" He said in return.
"I wasn't going to leave you alone"
The adrenaline and pain caught up with Elijah and he dropped to his knees. Klaus dash caught him and pulled him close. "I have you, your okay"
Elijah rested against Klaus and blinked slowly trying to fight the exaughstion. It didn't work and he passed out with his head on Klaus's chest. Klaus carefully scooped up Elijah and dashed the two of them away from the city.
