Waking up in the morning was a struggle for Jeongin. Eating a balanced meal was hard for Jeongin. Depression is not easy for Jeongin to deal with.
Today was one of them days where his depression hit him hard like a car crash. Jeongin woke up not in the mood to do much of anything around his dorm or anything to do with himself. He looked at his arms and sighed. He considered picking up a blade, but he didn't want to disappoint his boyfriends.
Despite his bad mood, he got up and looked in his mirror. He looked tired, mentally and physically. Days like these were hard for him. He could barely get out of bed. He could barely eat a meal that wasn't just snacks. He also could barely stay awake during the day. He was tired of his depression weighing him down like he's just water flowing down a street. Jeongin looked into the mirror again, coming back to reality. He noticed something off maybe even odd for him. He noticed a HUGE mat in his hair.
"Are you fucking serious?" He said, irritated. He knew all the problems with having your hair matted. Hell, he even experienced it himself when he was a child and his mother didn't give a flying fuck about him. "Out of all days... Why is today the day I notice this...?" He sighed once again. He knew the pain that would come with having your hair matted. He looked at himself once more and sighed for the 3rd time in a row. (damn dude how many times are u going to sigh- GET TF OUTTA HERE AUTHOR! OH SHI-) He couldn't believe he had a huge mat in his head, and it looked like his whole head had a part in the big ass mat.
Sometimes he felt jealous about Hyunjin always having a happy mood no matter the situation. Hyunjin could somehow still be continuously happy after an eventful situation that would leave a person still shaken up after it. Jeongin did the only thing he could think of. He called Hyunjin to help him with the big ass mat in his head.
*RING RING RIN-*
Hyunjin picked up before the 3rd ring could even finish.
"HIII YENNIEEE!! what's up?"
"Can you help me with something?"
"Yeah! Sure! What do you need help with?"
"I have this big ass mat in my hair, and I need help getting it out"
"I can help you get it out! Is it okay if lix comes with me?"
"Yeah. Sure. Whatever"
"Okay we're on our way! We'll be there in 10-15 minutes!"
"Okay thanks Jinnie"
"You're welcome!"
Jeongin and Hyunjin get off the phone. I.N went into the bathroom and rubbed his face in pure irritation. "I still can't believe my hair is matted like this! Last time it was, was when I was a child still living in that wretched woman's house."
10 minutes later, I.N hears a knock on his door. "Coming!"
"Sorry it took us a little bit more time. Our teachers were talking too damn much and wouldn't let us leave until they finished."
"No worries."
"Okay now- OH MY!" Hyunjin gasped. "I didn't know the mat was that big! What the fuck I.N!
Hyunjin couldn't believe his eyes. He'd dealt with mats before but not ones like this. To Hyunjin it looked like a clump of mats merged together. "Well thank goodness lix came with me to help because YOU sir aren't doing anything. Sit back and let me and lix help you."
I.N puts on a show to watch as he sits down on the floor, back on the couch. He sits in between Hyunjin's legs. "Lix, can you go and grab some conditioner and a spray bottle with water in it?"
"Yeah, also Yennie do you want any snacks before we start?"
"Chips please! Thanks!"
Felix comes back with conditioner, a spray bottle, and some chips for the 3 of them. Hyunjin grabbed a section of I.N's hair, the section that wasn't part of the huge mat yet and got to detangling. "Yennie when was the last time you actually brushed your hair and DON'T lie." I.N laughed nervously. "Uhhhh..." Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "Yennie, you need to brush your hair more often."
"I'm sorry! I just haven't been in the mood to do anything. My depression makes it hard to do things."
"Oh? why didn't you just come to me? I could've helped you!"
"Well, you had your own problems, and I didn't want to burden you with mine..."
"Yennie, you won't burden me with your problems. I love you too much to let you wallow in your own issues."
I.N sniffles. "Stop it you're gonna make me cry" Felix looks at I.N. "Just let it out Yennie, it's very helpful."
An hour later, Hyunjin finishes with half of the big ass mat out of I.N's hair. "You're still doing okay Yennie?" Hyunjin grabs another section and gets to detangling once more. "Yeah, it hurts though"
"I know foxy, it's always going to hurt whether you have a sensitive scalp or not."
Another hour later, Hyunjin finishes detangling I.N's hair. Now it was time for the hair washing, which is I.N's most favorite thing in the world.
They walk into the bathroom and take off their clothes. They get into the tub and I.N has his back on Hyunjin's chest.
"That hurt so much I literally started crying"
"I know it did shit it would hurt me too if not worse. Move up some and lay your head back so I can wet it." I.N lays his head back and Hyunjin starts to wash it.
Hyunjin grabs the shampoo and puts some in his hand afterwards he lathers it into I.N's hair. Hyunjin then washes out the shampoo and puts conditioner in it. Lastly, he washes out the conditioner, and they get out the tub.
"We should definitely watch Mha" - H
"Absolutely not. That show sucks. Felix what do you think we should watch?" - J
"hehehe we should watch avatar fire and ash" - F
"Peak movie, can't wait to obsess over jakes long dih" - H
"gay ass omgosh." - F & J
