He's tired of failure. Tired of the darkness that has always consumed him whole, threatening to push him over the edge, teetering but never quite getting there.“Yes - or rather, it's not so much that I want to die as that I'm tired of living.”
As the weeks pass, he feels himself standing at the incline, ready to embrace the cool nothingness of death.
