Summary
Luca Haas escaped his traditionalist parents and a complicated legal battle to leave Switzerland for Canada to play as the Ottawa Centaurs' first overall NHL draft pick. Finally free to live his life as an Omega, he hits a major hurdle when he learns that his week-long heats don't fit a league that only allows a single day of leave. Coach Weibe then informs him about the not-so-dirty-secret of "puck buddies" for single Alphas and Omegas, where members of the team help each other out to make sure nobody's out of commission for too long.
As a sheltered virgin overwhelmed by it all, Luca's world is rocked again when he discovers that Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, two of the best players in the NHL and his teenage heartthrob heroes, are interested in making an arrangement with him thanks to rut problems of their own. What starts as fucking for convenience turns into something more, as Luca soon falls for the first Alphas who treated him like he was worth more than the sum of his parts. All the while, Shane and Ilya both realize there's more room in their hearts for another, and the idea of losing Luca to anyone else becomes more than either Alpha can bear.
