"Is that what this is? You're jealous?" Ramona scoffs. She takes a step, closing the distance between them. Despite her better judgment, Oona can see the tension in Ramona's shoulders, the way it constricts her movements in that stupid fucking jacket. "That's fucking great. Real classy of you. I got to witness you fuck your way through practically all of Ontario but the second I get a girlfriend, you can't handle it."
Oona hums. "Slut-shaming me now? Nice one, 'Mona. New York has changed you." The nickname is not part of the plan. It slips out of Oona's mouth and it hangs in the air between the two of them; Ramona's eyes widen at its familiarity.
