   Summary

   When the elevator doors opened into the living room of the penthouse, Bruce grabbed Clark by the front of his light blue button up – he had already managed to undo the tie sometime in their ride up – tugged him out of the elevator and pressed him into the nearest wall, thrilled with how easily Clark let himself be moved.

   As Bruce’s hands began to explore lower, the tips of his fingers just barely slipping under Clark’s waistband, he was suddenly shoved away with so much force that if Bruce had been anyone but Batman he would’ve been flat on his ass. As it was, he just stumbled back a few steps, eyes wide as he watched Clark, who had covered his mouth, shocked by his own actions.

   Before Bruce could say anything, the words started to flow out of Clark like a torrent. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Oh god. I didn’t mean to. I’m sorry.” The words wouldn’t stop and worse tears were beginning to gather in Clark’s eyes.
