Chapter Text
Gosh today was the county fair, all the lines at the rides and food vendors were all full and long. There were tons of people there, some either trying to win prizes, or some were laughing with their friends and family. And every now and then you can hear people screaming either out of excitement or fear on those huge rides.
And for Sadie it was like hell, for her at least. Sadie was an excellent college student, and she spent most of her time studying. As she was walking around the county fair to find something interesting, she then felt a small furry presence beside her feet as she then stopped at her tracks to look down at her feet just to see the small kitten following her around, probably hungry or wanting attention.
As Sadie then slightly kneels down to pet the small cat fur on its head as she then says “Aw, what a small guy like you doing here wandering around?” As she then fully kneels to try to pick up the kitten but before she even had the chance to pick up the kitten, someone bumps into her hard, nearly knocking her off her feet as the kitty scrambles off and runs somewhere behind a random food vendor. As she quickly lifts up her head to see who bumped into her as she mumbles under her breath, as the person who bumped into her then says “Hey, watch it.” Sadie then looked at the person and bluntly said “Maybe if you look in front of you then we’ll never be in this situation-“ as she looked up and froze because who she was looking at was her old friend from Highschool, Olivia.
“Olivia?” Sadie said as she quickly stood up before continuing to say, “Oh. Wow it’s really you. I didn’t expect you to be here tonight!” Sadie says, slightly thrilled to see Olivia again, especially since they didn’t see each other for a long time.
As Olivia looks at Sadie up and down, as her perfect long hair falls down from her face and shoulders. As Olivia then says “Oh. It’s you.. Sadie.” As Olivia slightly smirks, before continuing “I almost didn’t recognize you, you look different..” As she begins to eye Sadie down, Sadie perky glasses down to her curly but messy ponytail.
As Sadie then notices Olivia's judging stares as she says, “You look different too, what are you doing here?” Sadie immediately regrets her stupid question, as she fingers slightly with her bracelets before catching herself.
Olivia then says “What else do you think I’m doing here. I’m trying to have some fun. Didn't really expect you to be here either.” Sadie tries to fight back the urge to give Olivia the satisfaction of her getting annoyed now as she calms herself down as she then says “Whatever, I gotta get going anyways. Maybe we can meet again and hang out?” Sadie suggested but only received silence.
As Olivia digs in her purse basically ignoring Sadie as she pulls out her phone, as Sadie gets annoyed just by how arrogant Olivia was acting as she then turns around to walk away but then a figure pops up right in front of her as Sadie then gets startled. As she takes a few quick steps back to calm down her racing heart, from the stranger's sudden appearance but just then the stranger then says “Sadie? Olivia? I didn’t expect y’all to be here too.”
As Sadie quickly looks up to see Katherine right in front of her..
