   Summary

Prince Dennis Whitaker has always known his future lies beyond his family’s throne. Betrothed to the handsome King John Carter across the sea, he is finally being offered a kingdom and purpose of his own. The only thing he cannot take with him is Pope Cody, the sworn guard who has spent eight years three steps behind him. With Dennis’s wedding approaching, years of stolen glances, crossed boundaries, and unspoken devotion are quickly running out of time.
