Summary
Amy and Jimin have been friends since they were children.
For years, Park Jimin has been one of the few people who could make her laugh without trying, the friend she trusted above all others and the one man she secretly wished might someday see her as something more.
But Jimin has made a decision of his own after the events of the last Season: distance is kinder than continuing to hurt Amy at seemingly every opportunity. A good friend should not hurt the person he cares for, after all.
Unfortunately, the coming Season has other plans.
Amy is expected to marry. Her family needs an heir, and with her future already being discussed, she has little choice but to search for a suitable husband. Jimin, meanwhile, is determined to remain firmly at a distance and convince himself that the strange ache he feels whenever Amy speaks of marriage is nothing more than grief for a friendship he has already lost.
But as new suitors appear, old friendships are tested, and Society begins to whisper, Amy and Jimin must decide whether what lies between them truly belongs in the past or whether they have been mistaking something far more dangerous for friendship all along.
