Summary
AU-gust Day 13
Prompt: Farmers MarketEvery Sunday, Maya visits the same flower stall to buy her grandmother a bouquet.
What starts as a simple way to bring some colour back into her grandmother’s home, slowly becomes something else entirely, when Maya finds herself looking forward to talking to the woman behind the stall just as much as the flowers.
Eight Sundays, eight bouquets, a little coffee, a lot of flirting, and one very determined grandmother later, Maya might finally have a reason to stop pretending the flowers are the real reason she keeps coming back.
