Summary
When a female LAPD patrol officer is found brutally attacked after finishing her shift, the incident initially appears to be a random act of violence. But when another female officer is assaulted under eerily similar circumstances, Angela Lopez begins to suspect something far more sinister.
As Angela and Lucy Chen are pulled into the investigation, they uncover a disturbing pattern: the victims aren't being chosen at random. Someone is deliberately hunting female LAPD officers, studying their routines and waiting for the right moment to strike.With each new attack, the suspect grows bolder—and the department realises they may be dealing with someone who knows police procedures almost as well as they do.
Angela takes the lead in piecing together the connection between the victims, while Lucy becomes increasingly unsettled by the possibility that the attacker may already have his sights set on officers inside their own department.
