Colours Ripple Across the Screen

Summary:

It’s hard to know what will happen when a magnet is placed on the screen of a CRT.

A memory comes back to Spamton, who is determined to find a way to make his forlorn partner smile again in Castle Town.

Notes:

So I was recently informed that there are basically NO fluffy takes on Tenna getting a magnet slapped onto his screen. Since I haven't written a one-shot in a while, I figured I'd try my hand at it.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

It was a quiet day in TV World’s Studio. With the laptop in the Dreemurr household, Spamton had taken the opportunity to skip town and try and get some work done in a quieter space. In TV World, the voices were less intrusive. He could actually concentrate and get some work done. There was always a guarantee that things would be -

The lights went out.

Spamton looked up, muttering a curse under his breath as he tried to figure out what caused the power outage with only a floating pop-up screen as his only source of light. When nothing in the borrowed office raised any alarms, he slowly navigated the space to approach the door out in case it was a bigger problem.

The lights came back on.

They were green.

“What the…?” The Addison was baffled. That light had been an off-white just a few minutes ago. Why - and how - was it green? With how many things he already didn’t know about this Dark World, Spamton decided to close up shop and go investigate. He needed to ask someone who lived here.

“Ignore the changes, folks. Just focus on going home! And take it slow! We don’t know how long this’ll last for, so be careful on the roads!” Lanino’s voice rang clear over the hubbub in the Green Room. Spamton watched on in amazement as the entire cast and crew were being escorted out of the backstage area and toward the staff exit. The weatherman was busy directing the crowds, while Elnina’s expression brightened up the moment she spotted the salesman.

“Spamspam! Perfect timing. We need your help. The Studio’s closed for the day.”

“It… Is?” Spamton looked around. The green room had turned bright orange. “I wasn’t aware of a shorter working day.”

“This wasn’t planned,” Lanino sighed as he approached. “The Lightner kids are messing with Tenna. This is going to knock him sideways for the rest of the day, even after they finish their game.”

“That’s why we need you!” Elnina took one of Spamton’s hands in both of hers. “We’re used to seeing these side effects. Lanino and I can keep the show going and set a schedule of reruns, but we need you to find him and bring him home to rest. He usually wouldn’t listen to us, but you might be able to work around that.”

“Okay. I can do that.” Spamton shoved his hands in his pockets and took a half-step back. “So… Where am I going?”

Lanino’s gaze lifted to the vivid brown ceiling in thought. “He had said he was feeling a little light headed and called an early break. I would guess he was in his dressing room when this happened.”

“Be patient with him,” Elnina gently urged, “On days like this, he isn’t fully grounded and is a little… Foggy.”

“Leave it to me. I’ll see you both tomorrow.” Spamton gave a playful salute and turned on the heel of his foot with the plan to walk straight to the dressing room.

The closer he was to Tenna’s dressing room, the more the colours distorted. In some places the shades were wrong, like in the Green Room. In others, different tones made wave patterns, like oil on top of water. Yet when he knocked on Tenna’s door and stepped inside, everything was simply a few shades darker than usual. The only source of colour and light was from Tenna’s screen, tilted askew from where he was awkwardly lying across the couch.

“Tenna…?” Spamton cautiously called out, “It’s Spamton. Are you okay?”

The star jolted in fright. “Spammy?” Tenna never called Spamton ‘Spammy’. That was the one pet name that the Addison had refused. If Tenna was defaulting to that, something wasn’t right. “Spammy…”

Spamton blinked. In the moment that had passed to allow him to figure out what was going on, Tenna had assumed he had been left alone. It was unnerving when it was clear that Tenna was looking in his direction. To test this, Spamton waved, only to receive no response. Whatever those colours were, they were blocking his vision.

“It’s okay, Tenna. I’m still here.” Spamton made sure to speak as clearly as possible. Filled with relief at the sound of his boyfriend being somewhere nearby, Tenna reached out with both hands, weakly grabbing the air in the hopes that there was someone there instead. “I’m coming toward you. Listen. I’m approaching the couch. I’m on your left-hand - whoa!”

“Spammy!!” The moment he was close enough, Tenna’s hands dropped down and swept Spamton off the ground and into the showman’s arms. Spamton might have been accidentally slapped in the process, but that was put aside as he was tightly hugged.

“H-hey, hey! It’s okay, big guy. I’m right here. Elnina and Lanino said you weren’t yourself because the kids are messing with your Light World form? Are they making you sick?”

“Noooo, no no nooo no! It’sa game they like to play!” From up close, Spamton could hear Tenna’s voice through the speakers underneath the frame of his head. It explained how he was able to speak despite the lack of a face, but not why he sounded like he was slurring. “They lemme be the game. Aren’t I lucky?” Tenna slowly slumped back, completely relaxed in the knowledge that the one he loved was right here with him in the moment where he was the centre of attention in the Light World.

“You… Hold on. I think you’ve lost me. This isn’t a video game or a show?”

“No, silly! I’m th’ game. I’m all Kris an’ Asriel neeee-” The final word was stretched out as the colours rippled from the right side of his screen to the left. Unfortunately for Spamton, Tenna was too caught up in giggles to remember what he had been saying.

“So, uh… What’s the game that you’re all playing?”

“I dunno the name but I, I…” Tenna paused, snickering at something that was seemingly so funny that he couldn’t hold the strength to speak. “They make the TV go wheeeeeeeee.”

One eyebrow slowly raised on the Addison’s face. That didn’t help at all. “... Does it hurt?”

“No… Feels funny. Like when, when… Your hair goes all poofy. Feels like that.”

“Like static?”

“Fuzzy.”

Spamton frowned. Whatever was going on was making it hard for Tenna to give helpful answers. “So, uh… What is it that makes you go ‘wheee’?”

Tenna, instead of answering, quietly repeated “Wheeeeee…”.

If Tenna was right that it didn’t hurt or cause him stress and all it did was make him act a little giddy, then Spamton would allow himself the moment of enjoying how adorable his boyfriend was in this bizarre state. “Is there something on your screen right now?”

“Ohhhhhh. Yeaaah! Manget…”

“A… A magnet? That should hurt you, shouldn’t it?”

“It’sonly little. Iiiiitty bitty. Too teeny to hurt but…” Tenna paused to focus on the sensation, only to trail off with a giggle. “Funny.”

“It doesn’t hurt.” Spamton sighed in relief. Slowly, he moved himself to sit where he could see the flowing colours. “Hey Ant? Do you know what else happens to your screen like this?”

“Noo…?”

“It’s all colourful.”

“It is??” The host’s body shook like he wanted to jump into an upright sitting position, but the core of his body was just too heavy to move. Instead, the excitement was portrayed like a worm wriggling into the soil.

“Yeah. Your face isn’t here. It’s only colours.”

“Are they pretty?” Tenna then gasped weakly. “You like colours! You’ll know! Am I pretty?”

“Ant…”

“Spammy…” Despite the lack of face, there was a clear sense of ‘pout’ in the muffled voice.

“Okay, okay… Yeah. The colours look really pretty on you. You’re like my personal kaleidoscope.”

“You think I’m pretty…” The sniff, surprisingly, was crystal clear.

“Of course I think you’re pretty. I love you.”

“I love you too… And you’re pretty too.” This gave Tenna the strength to finally flail until he was in a sitting position. “You’re soooo pretty. The prettiest face I’ve ever seen… But… I can’t see you now. I wanna see you.”

“It’s okay. Once this all settles, you’ll be able to see me again.”

“I miss you, Spammy.”

Spamton snickered. “Ant. I’m literally right here.”

“But I miss you.” Tenna sounded truly upset about this, like they were conversing over the phone with whole Dark Worlds between them.

“I miss you too. But I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere for the rest of the day. I’ll make sure I’m the first thing you see.”

“Promise?”

“I promise. Besides, if I do this,” Spamton moved himself until he was able to place a hand on either side of Tenna’s frame and gently lowered until he could faintly see his reflection on the screen, “There. You’re looking at me right now.”

“You mean it?”

“I do.” Both thumbs gently brushed against the sturdy plastic. “Y’know, I don’t mind waiting this out with you. It’s relaxing to watch the colours ripple on the screen. It’s like… Do you remember that one art show you did with Shuttah, and they poured all the paint into a tray that you tilted around?”

“The colours move?”

“They do, and they completely change how they look each time you, uh, go ‘wheeee’. It must be when they move the magnet across the screen.”

“You’re so smart, Spammy…” Tenna’s voice, though slower than usual, dripped with a familiar surge of affection. “I love when you’re talking ‘bout smart things. You’ve got anice voice. I wanna listen to you talk aaall day…” The voice trailed off, only to be abruptly cut off with a sniff. “I love you, Spammy.”

“I love you too, Ant.”

“Nooo, you don’t get it. I love you.” With how upset he was getting, one would swear that Tenna had never confessed his feelings in his life. “I love you. You’re so important to me. I like that you like me. I like that you wanna come see me when the laptop’s here. Everything’s… Right. I like when you’re here ‘cause it means I’m home.”

“Yeah,” Spamton quietly agreed, “Me too. I’m home when I’m here.”

“I wanna… I wanna keep you here. Make you live with me forever. But only if you wanna, ‘cause I’d never wanna kidnap you. You’re too pretty to look sad ‘cause you can’t go home.”

“C’mon, Ant. I know you’re not gonna do something crazy like that -” (Hopefully.) “- I always make sure I get here as soon as I can, and I wait until the last minute to go to the train station. One day, I’m gonna find a way for me to stay. I’m gonna leave Cyber City behind forever and live with you. Just like we planned, yeah?”

“Y-yeah…” The antennae began sluggishly flopping over one another. “I love you.”

“I love you too, even if it is like you’re drunk -”

“Noootttt druuunnk.” The objection was drawn out, in lieu of an inability to raise his voice. “Not drunk. Everything’s far away, ’s all. I’m floating.”

“Lucky I’m here to keep you grounded, eh? You might float high into the sky and we’d never see you again.” It was a tease, but Tenna’s grip on Spamton did tighten a fraction - just in case.

It was impossible to tell how Tenna really was feeling about all of this. He was known for wearing his heart on his sleeve, and his emotions were sometimes larger than Tenna himself, but this was the first time Spamton had seen emotions tumbling out. It was almost like someone had taken the remote and was rapidly pressing every button at the same time, just to see what would happen. Perhaps Spamton would need to get an honest opinion once all of this was over to know what to do next time.

As the colours slowly rippled along the screen once more, Spamton had an idea to help keep things light right now.

“Hey. You wanna know a secret?” Spamton paused, taking Tenna leaning his head a little closer as the prompt to continue, “When I wake up in the morning and realise I’m waking up beside you, it makes me feel so happy. It’s like a dream come true, and I wanna stay in that moment forever. I love you, I do. These colours, they’re perfect… But not as perfect as when I see you smile at me. That’s the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen.”

It worked. There was another sniff. When Tenna spoke, his voice trembled. “You think so?”

“I know so.” It was an obvious answer, but it was better to not have Tenna second-guessing while in this state. “Once the kids take the magnets off, we’re gonna go home, and I wanna spend the rest of the day cuddling so I can look at that handsome face as much as I want.”

Spamton couldn’t help himself. He leaned down to gently kiss Tenna on the part of the screen where the mouth would be, only to jump back with a yelp. The screen had more electricity on it than usual, zapping his lips in the process.

“Spammy? What happened?” With no way to see, Tenna could only hear the brief distress. “Oh, I hurt you, didn’t I? I didn’t mean to. I don’ wanna hurt you ‘cause I love you.”

“It’s okay! I’m okay! Got a little shock, that’s all. That magnet must be making you…” Spamton’s explanation trailed off as he looked at the screen again. There was a little ripple of blue in the area where he had kissed. Spamton’s own skin was a fur that was like static. One must have reacted off the other. “Ant, do you trust me?”

“Yes!” The answer was immediate.

“I wanna try something.” He shifted his position, letting his right hand hover just over the screen. Tilting his head to the side, he grinned as he saw how some colours began to form underneath it. “Nice… I can move your colours too.”

To test this, he slowly moved the hand to the right. The colours drifted below, almost like a shadow. Unlike with the magnet that made him woozy, this action made Tenna giggle.

“Hm? What’s that? Is that ticklish, big guy?”

“Nooo…” Tenna lied, trying miserably to stifle a laugh.

“I think it is~” With a grin of pure mischief, Spamton began rapidly moving his hand from side to side, relishing how his beloved erupted in laughter.

The memory faded after that point.

In a quiet room in Castle Town, Spamton sat on the bed beside Tenna. The former celebrity’s arms had been acting up all day, which in turn brought the trauma of what happened to him to the forefront. Spamton had decided to stay, glad that his years as a homeless puppet had brought with it some level of stubbornness, as he tried to think of something to help lift Tenna’s spirits.

But as he flipped through his corrupted inventory, nothing was striking inspiration… Until he found the magnet.

In Cyber City, he had discovered a small magnet in the shape of a palm tree, just big enough to comfortably rest in his palm, in the Trash Zone. It didn’t affect his wooden body, nor was it powerful, but it was just strong enough to mess with basic locks. That magnet had been the reason Spamton hadn’t passed out from hunger several times over that dark time in his life.

When he turned over a new leaf to help Kris and the others, Spamton had intended to throw it out. He never did - simply because he forgot - but now it brought with it a new idea.

Spamton threw a glance over his left shoulder. Tenna sat against the headboard, stuck in the same position as he had been ever since he had woken up and accidentally stretched the wrong way. His screen was off in a childish refusal to try and acknowledge what had happened. He hadn’t even bothered to attempt changing out of the ‘TV Time!’ branded pyjama vest into more suitable ‘daywear’.

Bad days like this were more common than Spamton wanted to admit. Not that he blamed Tenna. How could anyone be expected to move on when the pain was so fresh and the trauma so strong? From what Spamton had seen since arriving, none of the other Dark World Rulers suffered the same way Tenna did, and there was no denying that Tenna had noticed the same thing.

The magnet was taken out of the inventory. Would this help, or would it only make matters worse? If it didn’t work, Spamton hoped it would give Tenna some energy by sparking some anger. Anything was better than seeing his partner so dejected.

Slowly, Spamton crawled up the bed until he was beside Tenna’s left waist. He gently tapped the torso, mindful to avoid the arms. “[Tens]?”

“Yes, Spamton?”

“DO Y0U REMEMMBER IN [studio lighting] THERE  WAS. SOMETHING. YOU WANTED TO [try something new when you drop by!]. BUT WE COULD’NT.”

The screen clicked on, purely so Tenna could lower his head and give his partner a weary frown. “That doesn’t help at all, Spamton. Please be a little more specific.”

Instead of verbally responding, Spamton presented the small item he was fidgeting with, making sure that Tenna could see the black base.

The silence was heavy for a long moment.

“A MAGN3T.”

“Why…? Why do you have that? How long have you…”

“IT WAS A [utility tool] WHEN I NEDEED IT BUT. YOU SAID YOU [have you ever wanted to try] IT.” The more Spamton spoke, the more he regretted opening his mouth. This was a terrible idea, but he had to stick with it. It was too late to turn back. “IT WON’T MAKE [all the bad things] GO [far away].... YOU NEED A [commerical break]. EVER YTHING SUCK.S”

“Everything sucks,” Tenna quietly repeated. He lowered his head to watch how his left hand didn’t respond to his thought of curling into a fist. “Okay. Fine.”

“AND IF YOU WANT TO [get me off this ride] SAY [cut]!”

“Cut.” It was a one-worded response, yet it was enough to perfectly encapsulate how crummy Tenna was feeling about everything. It bolstered Spamton to get moving once Tenna had awkwardly shifted himself to lie flat on the bed.

“0NE. TO. THR3E…” Fearfully, Spamton slowly lowered the magnet until it was snatched out of his hands by the magnetic waves and landed on the screen. On that moment of impact, Tenna’s entire body jolted, his back arching from the momentum. Spamton was knocked backward, and he was grateful that the bed was large enough to accommodate an emergency landing. The instant he crashed, the puppet quickly rolled back onto his hands and knees so he could scramble back up to see Tenna’s face.

The entire screen was illuminated by colours. They were strongest just around the magnet, and gradually faded into milder shades toward the far corners of the screen. The colours rippled softly, like a pool of water regaining its sense of calm after a pebble was dropped into it.

“TEN?”

Worryingly, Tenna didn’t answer, nor did he appear to physically respond to his name. Spamton began to panic, thinking that it was too much. Of course it was. What was he thinking! If Tenna survived this, he would be convinced Spamton was trying to -

“S-Spa…?”

“[10/10!]!!!” Relief surged the puppet forward. He climbed onto Tenna’s chest as he continued, “[Everything is] 0KAY!. IM HERE. I’M [here and there]...”

“Spam…” The voice, though weak through the speakers, had a sense of fondness that reminded Spamton of the way Tenna greeted him when they woke in the morning.

“DO.NT [move a goddamn inch]. IM’NOT GO1NG ANYWH ERE.”

“Cannt. Heavy.”

“HEAVY…” If Tenna was sluggish from a magnet in the Light World, one directly on the Dark World body must feel so much stronger. “DOES IT [hurt at all]?”

“No… Fuzzy.”

Spamton cackled. “IT’S [fuzy]. YOU WANT ME TO [take off]?”

“No… 'Snice. Forgot this, this…”

“[Wheeee?]”

“Yeah… Wheeeee….”

Spamton reached forward and carefully slid the magnet across the screen. He would have been lost, mesmerised by the colours that formed, only for a familiar noise to ground him. For the first time all day, Tenna giggled. If the face had been there, Spamton was sure there would have been a hint of a smile too. Somehow, the ridiculous idea worked, and Tenna was finally starting to relax.

Of course, Spamton was aware that using something like a magnet couldn’t be a solution every single time something was wrong. He knew what it was like desperately relying on something external to feel a sense of normality. But for right now… It was okay.

He gently eased himself off Tenna’s body and knelt beside the right shoulder. “CAN I [check out this -] YOURE ARM5?”

“Yeah… Don’t hurt.”

“THEY DON’T? [Good news, every1]!.” With smaller hands, Spamton could unclip the shoulder panel and reach in to try and feel what was wrong. “H-HEY. I [forgor] THE NUMBERS. COULD YOU C0UNT ONLY TEH [oddball] NUMBERS BETWEEN [pick a number between one and twenty]?”

“Yeah… One.” After spending so many years struggling with a mind filled with bloatware, Spamton correctly guessed that a simple counting task would be a challenge for Tenna in his current state. It was something he had to really concentrate on, which allowed Spamton to gently poke the hastily repaired connections. Malius’ treatment was helping ease the muscles to move again, but that wouldn’t help when there was an issue with the wiring.

Two wires were loose and had tangled together. They were swiftly adjusted with care.

“Seve-ah ah ah.” Tenna’s form tensed up, only to relax once again.

“YOU 0KAY?”

Without the strength to nod, Tenna opted to give a soft, positive-sounding hum.

Carefully, the panel was put back into place. “WHAT COMES AFTER [trees]?”

That wasn’t the last number Tenna had said. Fortunately for Spamton, it wasn’t noticed. “Four…No. Five?”

“THAT’S RIGHT, BIG GUY. [You’re doing great!!].”

Spamton, too, was making good progress. He crawled around Tenna’s head to open the same panel on the opposite shoulder. The same two wires had come loose here as well. Whatever way Tenna had stretched must have accidentally undid something. Spamton would need to try and ask about that later.

“Eleve… Spammy?”

“YEAH?” The puppet looked up from his work, even though he knew Tenna couldn’t see anything. “WHAT’S [updog]?”

“I miss you.”

Spamton’s little wooden heart fluttered at that confession. “IM RITE HERE. [This product is not for sale]!”

“No. When… You went. Left me. I missed you.”

“I. MISSED YOU TWO.” Grateful that he couldn’t be seen, Spamton tried to hold his emotions firm by focusing on the wires. “I WANTED TOO COME [[home]]. IM BACK. FOR GOOOD.” Contracts and Benefactors be damned. The panel was clicked into place as he added, “AND WHEN YOU [go from this place]. I GO TOO.”

“You promise…?”

“YES. NEW [[home]]. FOR [[us]].” He would figure out the logistics later. Surely Kris would have a good idea on how to achieve that goal.

It was a conversation that had come up several times. Tenna always felt forlorn when he realised how easily he had been abandoned, how no one tried to argue for keeping him, and how he was simply forced to accept a fate he never agreed to. They could have this conversation whenever they wanted.

But this moment? It was different.

Spamton walked down the bed and gently pressed his hand into Tenna’s left palm. On reflex, the hand closed around his, which was a big improvement from the failed attempt to move it earlier. He had managed to do something good and help the former star.

“[Quiz time]! GUESS WHO I [[love]].?”

“Me…?” Tenna’s voice shook with uncertainty.

“[ding_ding.mp3]!!. CORRECT!!!” Spamton hoisted himself back onto Tenna’s chest so he could press his hands against the bottom of the TV frame. “IT’S [[you]]! ONLY Y0U! ONLY EVER YOU!!”

“Only ever me?”

“AND YOUL NEVER [guess what?] ELSE.”

“What?”

“YOUR THE BR1GHTEST [rainbow sprinkles] EVER!” Spamton lifted the Dealmaker and nestled them in his hair so he could take in the sight with his real eyes. “ITS [bee]UTIFUL. YOURE [handsome]…”

“I’mma rainbow…”

“IT’S LIKE [pride month] -” That wasn’t what Spamton had wanted to say. Before he could attempt to correct himself, Tenna began to laugh in that melodious tone - albeit slurred - that made Spamton feel giddy.

“That… That means I’m… I’m Pride Month…” There was a thought bouncing around somewhere inside that fuzzy brain, and Spamton’s patience was rewarded as Tenna eventually added, “I’m so gay.”

Spamton snorted. “THAT”S TRU.”

“That’s yoouur fault ‘cause you’re so so so cute. You’ve got such a cute little face.” Both of Tenna’s arms lifted, seemingly forgetting about the pain he was supposed to feel, so they could press against either side of Spamton’s head. This was enough of a starting point to allow the actor to map out the puppet’s face. “Youe face’s so smooth. Made with love an’ care… I’mlove seeing you smile and your little cheeks go red. Or your face goes red. That’s reaally cute…” The thumbs had successfully landed on both rosy cheeks and began brushing softly against them. “But I love the most when you lemme see your eyes. They’re like buttons. So pretty…” Whatever else was on his mind disappeared with a wistful sigh.

“[Tenner off]?”

“I wanna kiss you. I lost my lips…”

Spamton’s hands quickly shot up to keep his mouthpiece in place so he could stop himself from letting out a laugh. Tenna sounded so devastated! “[Me too]!. I LOST MY [smackers].”

“We’re never gonna be able to kiss again…”

“SURE WE ARE. H0LD ON!” Once he had moved close enough, Spamton leaned down and pressed his wooden teeth against the lower section of the screen. In his memory, this action zapped him. In this moment, nothing happened. The wood didn’t react to the static build up in the same way. It was only another reminder of what Spamton had lost.

Tenna, however, didn’t appear to notice, or care. Instead, he pushed forward, allowing the two surfaces to press together neatly. He hummed softly, seemingly content with this compromise.

“Spammy…?” No mouth and the use of speakers meant that it was easier for Tenna to speak when they were supposed to be kissing. “Cut…?”

“O-OH. YEAH. HOLD ON.” Spamton tripped over his own feet in his attempt to reach up and yank the magnet off. It was quickly shoved into his inventory before anything else could happen.

At that same moment, Tenna’s face returned, but the colours were still there. Spamton was almost certain that wasn’t how it used to happen.

“That’s better…” Tenna sounded tired, but his smile widened when he realised he had regained the ability to see. “C’mere. I wanna kiss you properly.”

Before Spamton could even think of a quip to respond with, he had been tugged back in for another kiss - a proper one, this time. However, he was quick to break it off.

“[I’m happy to -] PICK UP WERE WE LEFT OFF. BUT [before we get to the main course] YOU GOTTA GO TO THE M1RROR.”

“The mirror? Why?”

“YOUR’E STILL [pride month].”

Immediately, Spamton had been snatched up like a teddy bear as Tenna hoisted himself onto his feet. The TV’s balance was dangerously unsteady, but it didn’t matter as he wobbled toward his dressing table.

The multicoloured display wasn’t as strong as it had been when the magnet had been on the screen, but it was still a vivid display while it began to slowly fade away. He would need to find the degaussing wand to make sure everything was in order, but why rush the disappearance of a sight he had always wanted to see? It was even better than Spamton’s attempts to describe it afterward.

“You were right. I do look like a kaleidoscope…”

“YEAH. SO [gorgeus]...” Spamton leaned his head back to rest against Tenna’s chest in the only act of affection he was able to do while being carried. “THE COLO[u]RS OF MY LIFE. MY [pretty pretty] RAINBOW.”

“S-Spamton, stop that...” The colours rippled, as though mimicking a blush.

“BEING [back where i belong] MAKES MY LIFE BRIGHTER. I[love it]. I [love] [[you]].”

“I love you too. And… Thank you, for everything. I know you fixed my arms for me. Is there anything I can do to repay you?”

The puppet hummed dramatically, like he was trying to choose from a myriad of options. “[Kiss Kiss fall in] NAP?”

Tenna held Spamton closer, giving him a soft squeeze. “I think that’s a great idea.”

Notes:

For those who know about Angel (my little F1 summon OC), it would appear after the nap, when Tenna decides it should see the colours on Pop's screen before he cleaned it away.
