So it wasn't surprising that on this day, a lone child was sitting beneath the wooden construction that had partly broken down, forming a small area he could fit in. A space that the adults wouldn't reach. Somewhere he at least felt safe for the moment.
Even the rain, wind and darkness outside didn't scare him as much as those adults.
The name of this poor child? It was a name that sometimes, the child wished to not be his own. Because maybe, if he had another name, then just maybe this would mean that he had been born elsewhere. Not here, not in this cursed village.
