Summary
Jake holds him closer, arms grabbing at Albert's chest as he curls in on himself. “I’m so fucking lonely,” he murmurs - into the back of Albert’s shoulder, “Like, actually nobody. Not a single soul.” Albert grabs his hands instinctively, not quite sure what to do at Jake confessing his loneliness like it was his greatest sin. “And- and even if I got someone, I think- I know I’d want this, and I don’t know what that means.”
He pauses, eyes darting back to the boy in his lap.
“I think you look so pretty, Albert,” he says finally, almost shy.
