   Summary

Jules has spent years saving lives. The end of the world taught her that saving one sometimes means taking another.

Jules, a final-year veterinary student, is stranded in Georgia when the Wildfire virus hits. Equipped with nothing but her dog, a gun, and a stubborn will to live, she finds herself among a group of survivors—and constantly at odds with Shane Walsh, a ruthless police officer.

The problem is, the more the world falls apart, the more she starts to think he might be right.
