I'm in the same class as Suo-san! I wish I could find out more about him. He's known to be so enigmatic and intimidating. However, the rumors confirm that he's incredibly strong, even though there are no actual records of who he's fought or defeated. I'm so excited to fill in his section in my notebook!!
Suo-san turned out to be... a jokester? And an easygoing guy? I never expected that! It really surprised me, but I won't complain! That's for the best! That way, I can ask him about anything more easily. He also saved me when I was about to die in the middle of Sakura-san’s and Sugishita-san's fight. He even tried to patch things up between them! He turned out to be a really good guy!!!
Too much happened, and I explained most of it in Sakura-san's section, so to briefly sum it up, for some "reasons," today was the Shishitorin and Furin fight. I went there as a spectator while Umemiya-san, Hiragi-san, Sakura-san, Sugishita-san, and, of course, Suo-san fought some of Shishitorin's strongest fighters.
Suo-san's fight was... impressive, to say the least. He was effortlessly playing with his opponent, Kanuma-san, like a doll while teaching him a lesson about adulthood. I knew he was strong, but that was way beyond "strong." It was also terrifying. I'm so glad to be part of Bofurin. Who knows what could happen to me if I ever had to fight him?.. Haha, I don't even want to imagine!
Suo-san and Tsugeura-san seem to know each other! So I guess it's true what they say: all the strong people know each other! Though Suo-san doesn't appear to like him. I wonder what happened between them in the past. It doesn't look like it was anything too serious, though. Maybe Suo-san just dislikes loud and noisy people. I'm a bit like that around him, but he never shows any annoyance toward me. I hope he never does...
Suo-san always orders a drink whenever we go out to a restaurant or a café. His favorite is always tea!
Suo-san chose me as the second vice-captain... That was quite shocking, considering the fact that I can do nothing when it comes to fighting. I don't want to be a burden; I want to help Sakura-san achieve his goals! And, To leave a legacy behind!
Oh, also, Suo-san mentioned that he's good at investigations and getting information from people. Scary, right? Honestly, I can't see any use for that ability at the moment, of course, unless he was just joking, as he usually does.
Today was our Class 1-1 fight with KEEL. I got really beaten up because I felt useless when all i did was standing by the wall while Suo-san was protecting me. So i ran to fight and ended up knocked down. After the fight, he flicked my forehead and told me never to do it again. His eyes were warm, and his smile felt different from his usual one. He also noticed that something was wrong with me the day after, I guess I'm sure he doesn't hate me now. That's quite a relief. I asked him to train me and he accepted!
Suo-san's way of training me isn't anything like what I expected. He didn't tell me to train hard and focus on strengthening my muscles. Instead, he taught me a move that helps me take my opponent down with minimal to no force at all! The key is speed and keeping my eyes open.
I guess Suo-san lives pretty far away from the rest of us. We usually go home together, and even though my house is on the outskirts of Makochi, he still has to walk quite a long way after that. He's quite reserved, so asking him where he lives would definitely end with him saying some crap like his house is in the cloud that couldn't rain or in space and he has to take the Star Train to reach there.
Suo-san is a good strategist. His strategy against Noroshi helped us fight at full force! He was the only one who came out of the fight without any injuries, though. He never gets injured in fights. That's so impressive and really shows how strong and skilled a fighter he is!
Suo-san seems to wear long sleeves even in summer. I never asked him why because it seems like something he would do. However, it may be because his skin is sensitive to sunlight, since he wore something similar when we went to the beach. He also didn’t want to swim I wonder why.
He had never missed a day of school... Never, until now. He's been absent for three days, and he hasn't responded to any of my messages or calls. I hope he's alright. We went to check on him using the address listed in his school papers, but... the lot was empty. He lied on his application I guess. Haha, funny joke isn't it?...
Tonight, I met Suo-san... It wasn't a pleasant meeting, though. He looked fine at first. He said he was leaving school and that we weren't anything. He said everything I feared he would say to me. However... I couldn't help it. He was ridiculous, and no words could stop him, so I challenged him to a fight. Silly me. Of course, I stood no chance against him. It was a one-sided fight, and he laughed when I cried saying: “Aren't we friends?”
He had never laughed that loudly before, and it frustrated me even more than it hurt, so I used my fist one last time. He thinks he can troll me. He thinks his pain can go unnoticed if he acts well enough, but he is wrong. And what proves that is the fact that my fist actually landed on his face...
I honestly didn't expect that to happen. His eyes were closed, and I wasn't looking either. But once I lifted my gaze and saw his face, everything became clear.
The mask cracked.
It shattered and fell away from his face, revealing the pain in his eyes. I never thought the day I'd see Suo-san's bruised face would come, but there it was. His face was miserable, bruised, his nose bleeding, and... a trembling smile with the saddest eyes.
All those thoughts flashed through my head in the few seconds before everything went black.
I woke up, and Suo-san wasn't there.
I failed.
Sakura-san would be so disappointed, but I learned enough. Even his last act of kindness, despite trying to convince me that he was cruel by hitting me as hard as he did, he made sure I didn't end up with my face in the dirt.
Suo-san is suffering, and he tried to make me hate him, to make me give up on him.
And that's impossible.
He should have known better.
Bofurin never leaves anyone behind.
