Wifies is on the dock of the boat he now lives on, thinking about all the times he and Hummer have drowned and all the research they've done. Hummer didn't let Wifies give up on this because it mattered to him — which Wifies didn't mind. He still is definitely getting bored of being alone constantly as Hummer is in what they call the library as it pretty much is that. Hummer needs to get out of there, seriously.
Wifies liked doing research too but he knew when to take a break — Hummer clearly did not. Which is why Wifies will have to do something about it and get that idiot to finally sleep, maybe get him to go out again sometimes.
Wifies' steps weren't loud but the wood under his feet creaked as he walked to the library and to no surprise saw Hummer on the floor, writing his mind off. He walked closer and spoke.
"Hummer, you've been here for three days, I think its time to sleep and get some sunlight."
"But I could be doing reaserch about the Leviathan, I'll catch up on sleep later, promise."
"Hums, no. Either you get up and go to bed or I'm going to carry you out of this room."
"Wifies, I'm completely fine doing reaserch like this. All-nighters don't hurt me."
"You're not a robot, Hummer, it's unhealthy. Take off the TV head, let me see you." Wifies said while sitting down beside Hummer, taking the pencil out of his hand and moving the book aside too.
Hummer didn't say anything and just took off the TV head. Wifies looked at Hummer's face and the exhaustion in his eyes. He's not lying out of this one.
"Hummer, I clearly see you're tired, come on." He took his hand; which Wifies rarely did with anyone, and stood up — waiting for Hummer to follow. Hummer just froze, not expecting the contact. It took him a few moments but eventually he wordlessly got up and followed Wifies to the bedroom. They had one bed as they didn't really care about that so Wifies sat Hummer down. When Hummer got comfortable Wifies layed beside him. Wifies could sleep at any time, honestly. He was kinda tired and it wasn't too early to go to bed. It was 8pm.
Hummer turned to face Wifies and just stared at him .... Longingly?
"Hummer, you're blantly staring"
"I- I know you're just... H-have I told you you're really pretty Wifies?" It took him a lot of courage to say that to Wifies.
Wifies blinked a bit before getting the memo. "If you want to kiss me go ahead."
"N-no ..what?? I-i don't want to kiss.. You... Why.. Why would I want that.."
"You're extremely obvious Hums, cmere"
Wifies took the lead, which wasn't a surprise. He just brought Hummer's face closer and kissed him with enough gentleness for Hummer to immediately melt into it. It lasted for a good amount of time before both pulled away.
"I like you Wifies.."
"We just kissed, no? Now will you listen to your boyfriend and sleep?"
"B-boyfriend??"
"Yes, Hums. You want that, right?"
"Yes.."
Wifies gave him another quick kiss before pulling him close and letting him fall asleep without a single worry in the world.
Wifies woke up first, he remembered everything that happened last night and smiled at the sight of Hummer in his arms. They had known each other for about three weeks and already formed this sort of relationship, things were going swell. Though, he has to get Hummer to do something outside of reaserch. That's a worry for another time.
