The ocean shined a deep blue-violet beauty, the moon was a pastel baby blue, the moonlight shining down upon Hummer…
The cool salt air hitting Hummer’s screen as he sat there, after deciding not to power down his screen he just was in his own thoughts since Wifies had gone to sleep already… He couldn’t explain it much, but recently he had felt something in his ‘organic’ body, after his head, more specifically inside his lungs. Spreading little beads. Like bubbles, but heavier.
As the moon started to reach its prime, Hummer felt his lungs get too heavy— he couldn’t breathe. His gills spread, something that sounded like small rocks falling as he worked as hard as he could to cough it out.
He looked down and saw bloodied pearls rolling onto the plank flooring.
Was that normal for people’s bodies, like how a cat choked out hairballs? Maybe players gagged up shiny rocks…?
Wowie! People are so much weirder outside of the paradise than Hummer originally thought!
