Summary
Outside, Eddie feels like he can breathe. The music was deafening and the silence is blissful, even though there's the low thump of the bass and people talking it's much less overwhelming. Eyes dropping closed, Eddie rubs at his aching forehead. "I don't know why I let Buck goad me into this."
Ravi chuckles, "because saying no to Buck is like kicking a puppy." He steps in closer as a group moves past them. His cologne is spicy and floral simultaneously, faded but enough to fill Eddie's nostrils. "Aren't you glad I came along?" There's a teasing dip to Ravi's voice.
It's posed in such a way that Eddie can ignore it.
"Absolutely," Eddie murmurs, choosing not to ignore it.
Dark eyes catch on Eddie's and they stare at each other before Ravi gives a small huff and shakes his head slightly, looking away and then, very quickly, glancing back. Eddie hasn't moved, though he knows this isn't the place for whatever is passing between them.
They stare at each other a moment, Ravi's eyes dipping to Eddie's mouth before he runs his hand through his hair nervously.

After Buck gets distracted by Jade, Eddie takes Ravi home.
