Truth Be Told...

Summary:

Mu Qing and Feng Xin were sent on a mission to deal with a ghost who cursed people to tell the truth. Unfortunately, they were cursed. Double unfortunately, this might be a problem due to Mu Qing's huge crush on Feng Xin.
Sadly, the two idiots can't just tell each other how they feel had have to take the worlds most roundabout way of confessing.

(Sorry guys, I fear that I can't write summarys)

Chapter 1

Summary:

Pei Ming decides to play Cupid (and gets a lot of paper work)

Chapter Text

“Nobel Jie~” Pei Ming started in an innocent tone—which only informed Ling Wen that his request would be anything but innocent.

“No.” She replied immediately, filling out yet another scroll before Pei Ming could even begin to start speaking.

“Oh come on, you didn’t even give my idea a chance!” Pei Ming complained, slamming his head down onto her desk so that his hair covered her scrolls. He grinned up at her as she stared down at him in exasperation.

“I’ll go along with whatever your little scheme is if you do all of my scrolls for the next month.” Ling Wen told him.

“All of them?! For the next month?!” The general shot up from the table, gaping at her like she had just said the world was flat.

“That’s the deal, Ol’ Pei.” She replied, pushing his face away from her scrolls so she could continue to write.

Pei Ming sighed. Was it worth it to get heaven’s biggest idiots together? (And assign them a mission that would fall to General Ming Guang if they didn’t take it?)

Unfortunately, if he had to stare at those two oblivious idiots pining for each other during an important meeting, he might just force them to kiss at this point. So, yes. It was indeed worth it.

“Fine…” Pei Ming groaned before pulling a scroll from his sleeve and handing it to Ling Wen. “Generals Xuan Zhen and Nan Yang do this mission together, that’s my side of the bargain."

Ling Wen glanced over the scroll, reading the mission before looking back at Pei Ming and raising her eyebrow, unimpressed.

“And when you’re wrong and they have a perfectly normal friendship?” Ling Wen snapped closed the scroll.

“Noble Jie, respectfully, I’m the God of Love for a reason. Have I ever been wrong before?” Pei Ming smirked.

“Yes. On multiple occasions.”

“That was only one time! And how was I supposed to know that he was Black Water in disguise?! Either way, I’m sure that he and Qingxuan made up after that anyways."

Ling Wen just sighed as she reached into the communications array to call for Feng Xin and Mu Qing.
